    I know some of it is injury, but he has a few of those a year and you just ask how this can be the same player.

    Now, how to change next year's playoffs to really, really favor the teams with better records in the regular season. Back to two game series, both at the home of the higher seed?

    ;)

    I must admit that I would have been wrong on both of the conference finals, though I admit I was rooting for a Seattle - Atlanta final.

    Wow. Nick DeLeon. As a DC United fan who had his 2018 season ended by a Nick balloooooooooon shot over the bar on a pk, I am sickened by him being the hero. Yes, I know he scored late to get us TO pks.

    Home field advantage seems to have evaporated the last couple days.

    If that penalty goes in for a 2-0 lead, I expect it would be closer to a comb than a win for TFC.

    Third time in four years, we get TFC- Seattle. The trilogy.

    I'm loving the new playoffs format. Very few snooze worthy games.

    Now, I need to find tix for the final... I've already been to Seattle this year. Didn't think I want to go there again this year

    Over the years, Lawrentowicz has been known to have a driven distance shot. So, maybe that was why he was dropped back.

    The TFC Montreal playoff series a few years ago was really fun. The one game playoffs are not bad.

    This is what happens when you let everybody and their brother into a single-elimination playoff: you wind up with two unattractive, small-market teams in the final. (Yes, I know Toronto is big, but they're in Canada, so it doesn't matter.)

    {Ismitje immediately looks at the long-range weather forecast to look at the passability of the mountains, perhaps to attend MLS Cup.}

    LAFC badly needed a dmid. Bradley is out of contract at Toronto. It's a no brainer.

    If TFC wins MLS Cup, Bradley gets an automatic $6.5 million dollar option year added to his expiring contract.
