A very winnable match to see us through to the quarters of the Rumbelows Cup.

Bring em on! Let CP run wild!!

4-0 would be apt but will settle for a scrappy 1-0. Hopefully no penalties (which means penalties are almost certain).

We haven't been great at home while United's away form is woeful. Penalties it is.

We haven't been good against the two top 6 sides we've faced this year. I know Yanited aren't that, but it would be nice to get a home win against them. 2-1 or 3-2 methinks.

Honestly don’t care about this cup. Always want to win and always want to beat untied but I won’t be bothered if knocked out. Staying in the top 4 and getting of the group of UCL should be this young teams goal this year.

Would be nice to win a Cup. Always good to beat MAnU. So that would be a good thing too. Always care about every game we play.

Our outing against Pool was unlucky and United's been mediocre. All we have to do is not do the same things we did against United at the start. WHich means not starting Ross Barkley.

Wondering if Lampsypoo gets semi-experimental with this lineup.

Perhaps starts for Reece James and Billy Gilmour? Will Pedro come out of hiding? A start for Michy on the books..? Has Emerson been hurt??

    Whatever the case. WIN.

Jose always said it was the catalyst to a winning culture at Chelsea, winning the league cup in his first year.

I know the opinion of it has changed over the years, especially those that were not brought up on only one participant in the European cup one in the cup winners and, what, two? in the UEFA.
    Those weren't for us anyway.
Only one team can win it and I do sense the worm is turning with this cup now, as the bigger teams want to win it.

I remember when the scummers won three in a row.
Would dearly love to see Frank do that :)

I hope he goes young, rotates and brings players that need PT post injury back. All the players you listed would be great to see. This cup means next to nothing. It’s a shade above a preseason cup. It’s just a money grab. Focus on top 4, UCL and if we take any domestic cup serious it should be the FA Cup.

Winning means Winners means winning mentality, I expect, more so after last result against em and Watford next, we see what Supah thinks is our best line-up, with only an exception or two.

It may not be like winning the FA cup but This cup doesn't mean 'next to nothing' certainly not to the fans here, elsewhere on the planet perhaps - ultimately there are 4 chances of silverware available and 2 are probably beyond us for this year. Here is a thought - only THREE English clubs won silverware last season, win this cup and you become one of a small minority.

That’s what United have done; we’ve clearly gone with some younger options. They’re fielding essentially their current first choice side.
United will look to hit us on the break all game, because they have no creativity in midfield. Let’s hope Zouma and Guehi are up to it.

Bit soft but it was PK IMO.

Alonso's form hasn't improved much I see, (comment thus guaranteeing him winning us the match ;)).
