He may come in from the bench and be the hero today.

    Ah, who am I kidding?

They were basing it on the line-up of the training squad on the weekend - which is usually (sometimes? I have no idea, just retweeting folks at the grounds) the starting 11. But it never made much sense unless there was a fitness issue with Hint - but that seems not to be the case.

Third sub is Jung, no Bobby today. It's all for the better, Hamburg has been defending for 20 minutes & right now the 1-1 away is looking good.

Bobby gonna end up back in the B1. Crazy! (yeah, I know, it's early bla-bla-bla... but still. How crazy if he rides the bounce back up without hardly a minute on the grass.

He won't notice they got promoted until he realizes he's getting paid a sweet million extra per year.

Coach: Bobby's doing what I want and working well. It's up to him not to lose his head...

Also: from same account. "I can't understand why Wood did not get time last game. Coach's subs were ineffective..."

Guess Hecking wants Bobby to sit on the bench and look pretty sitting there.

He's keeping his head on the bench today as Hamburg is up at the half.

Wish him all the best. There was a time he was the first option. I don't know if injuries have ruined him.

So, I guess they're comfortable just paying him to train and ride the bench.

They should allow Bobby to play video games on the bench.

He's in the team for the weekend according to a number of twitters that I'm too lazy to embed. Unlikely to start. Maybe he'll get a minute or two.

He's their rabbit foot, so far he's on the bench they do well.

Wood is better than the 10 goals in 70 BL matches statistics state though not that damn good. It's a shame he was on very poor sides and too many injuries and loss of morale and confidence.

    Wood played.

1-1 draw, Hamburg stay top of the league at least temporarily.

1194462332086312960 is not a valid tweet id

"Who replaces Jatta?" This article is AI translated (and pretty poorly) but basically with winger Jatta out for 2 games with RC suspension and Harnick perhaps not fit, Wood might have a shot, if they change up the formation to fit him in.

Meanwhile, random fan with ratings for last game. Bobby with a Kicker-scale 3. Some 2's, but also some 4s and 5s... fwiw.

Gotta love this day and age where Yanks get paid way more to get cameo minutes than 20/30 years ago when they got peanuts to ride the bench in 2nd and 3rd division European leagues.

And the way HSV is going he's head for a raise next season... Hope he gets his mojo back. He's a fun player when he's on.
