Yeah, that's not bad. Design is similar to the 94 away, which was a great jersey. But I'm not just not a huge fan of black for us. Something doesn't feel right with it. This is what I've read what our next away kit is going to look like. "The Adidas Argentina 2020 Copa América away jersey will be 'midnight', which is very dark, slightly blue shade of grey. Although not confirmed at this point, we expect the dark grey base of the Adidas Argentina 2020-21 away jersey to be combined with white for logos and accents." https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/06/adidas-argentina-2020-copa-america-away-kit.html
We playing Uruguay on Tuesday Nov. 19 in Israel. Good tests against two of the best SA teams and should prepare us well for the WCQs.
Where'd you hear this? Has the originally scheduled match for that FIFA date (Paraguay - Nov 18) been cancelled?
I guess money talks and Israel is gonna pay more than what we were gonna get in Bangladesh. Last time when were supposed to play in Israel the match was canceled due to protests. There is already groups asking for both teams to boycott the match.
Great we get to go through that nonsense distraction again. At least it's not before a World Cup this time.
Messi had a goal and an assist while Lautaro scored twice, his second eventually became match winner since they won narrowly 4-3.
Another game and another goal for Icardi. He seems to have picked it up in the last few games. Good to see. 1186722500966834176 is not a valid tweet id
Make that 2x for Icardi. Kun with a brace Coco with 2 assists and a goal. Dybala saves Juve’s ass by scoring 2 as well. An absolutely gorgeous hit from Paulo Dybala brings Juventus level #UCL (via @TUDNUSA) pic.twitter.com/UzHPec0dB1— SI Soccer (@si_soccer) October 22, 2019 And Dybala gives Juve the lead! Just like that. #UCL (via @TUDNUSA) pic.twitter.com/k57MwvEXlo— SI Soccer (@si_soccer) October 22, 2019 What a bozo Allegri was. He’s done just sensational for Juve this season. Sarri is helping him get out of that nasty slump he was in. He is far too talented to be held back.
River-Boca CL Semifinal in an hour an a half, for those interested in watching Montiel, Martinez Quarta, Armani, and others in a high-stakes match
The match was terrible: the worst I’ve seen River play all year (our typical clean, precise passing style was absent and replaced with an ugly form of play that was painful to watch). Plus the reffing was just about as bad as it could get. Tbh as a neutral you didn’t miss much and probably shouldn’t even bother with highlights. The first leg was muuuuch better (not just saying that cuz we won it; it was a muuuch higher display of football) With that said, the job got done and the better team advanced to the final. Thanks for the congrats. Cheers!
Tough one, but probably Gremio. Flamengo are stacked with a "European" roster including Felipe Luis, Rafinha, Diego, Gabigol, Diego Alves, De Arrascaeta, and several other cracks (with Jorge Jesus as coach as a cherry on top). Plus they're on fire in the Brasileirao, with a 10 point difference separating them from 2nd place Palmeiras (and a 20 point difference between 4th place Sao Paulo). Add that to the fact they're undefeated in the last 17 games. They play some very clean football and it would be an extremely tough match in which I'd honestly say they'd arrive as favorites. With that said, Gremio is very solid defensively (assuming they're the same as last year) and can be a tough team to break through. We saw it last year when we faced off in the LIbertadores semifinals: Gremio parked the bus both games and River struggled immensely to generate chances, barely going through thanks to a series of miracles in the last ten minutes. Even though I think Flamengo is filled with more quality, it might be more beneficial for us to take on an offensive-minded team than one who sits back all game. In the end I'd still probably say Gremio, just because Flamengo is one hell of a team. For neutrals, though, River-Flamengo would be ideal as they're probably the two best teams in the entire continent and both have offensive tactics based on ideologies of treating the ball right
Flamengo were the better side in the first leg. Might be tough for Gremio but it is football and anything can happen. And yes, I’d rather see River and Flamengo go at it. A much better game for us looking from the outside in. And if River do lift the trophy, I wonder what is next for Gallardo. I don’t think any other team outside of FCB will peak his interest. Not even teams in Italy would. He’ll probably stay or maybe take a break. But with football, I don’t think you could be away from it for too long, it moved with or without you. So, I’ll be interested to see what he does. Good luck.
I think there are a couple of European teams that might interest him, and not necessarily Barça: he has a history in French football, and I can see both PSG and Monaco looking at him as an option. PSG definitely could use a manager with his drive for direct elimination tournaments, and who knows, getting Paris its first UCL trophy might be the sort of challenge he needs after leaving an indelible mark on the Libertadores with River.
PSG... Maybe... But I can’t see him leaving to a club where he can’t win and where the playing grounds aren’t really balanced, especially if they’re against him. I mean, why for example would he leave to a small Italian club where they’d be a middle of a table side. Monaco, he’s got history with but PSG has unlimited money and have pretty much dominated that league. I guess, its either go big or stay home....
Good game for Lautaro, even though he got his penalty saved, he also started the play that ignited Inter’s second goal.
