Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed. But he would just be a band-aid. Really need some long term solutions for the club and Jersson doesnt really cut it. It doesn't take much to go from player to DT these days in Colombia. I don't even think they need any formal licensing or deep studies to be head coach.

Agree, the angle wasn't optimal for the ref since the leg of Wallens looked like it touch Vergara, but it wasn't a penalty. I just don't understand Cali's management who published an official statement regarding mistakes for the second time in a row. It's not like they are the only ones who suffer from bad refereeing.
frustrating but kind of showed the disorganization from last week's match. We were lucky to have been given a PK last week but Dep Cali looked the better team. As much as no one can deny Angulo's talent he's a bit selfish of a player. We lacked very little cohesion and couldn't string together more than 2 passes. Disappointing but somehow still alive. At this point, we just have to focus on the Reclasificacion. I think if we should beat Alianza and take a point vs Santa Fe. I see 4 points needed to be able to take the CL spot. Probably not enough to advance to the finals but I don't see Tolima winning both their last 2 matches.

I think America de Cali will reinforce well and have a big fan base. Fear if Tolima lose their coach they are going to suck. Our teams need to start doing much better in this cup!
America! America! America! Back to the finals baby! Definitely deserved the win last night although the ref was suspect in that 2nd goal. VAR will be interesting for the final. Best part is back to Copa Libertadores! Hoping we can pick up some solid players in AMF and improve our defense but for now I'll enjoy.
