Another epic night at the castelao thanks to rogerio. The Team looked completely different than the last 3 matches. Fortaleza got cheated out of a goal too. dominant win.

And it was great seeing edilson and dede at fault for cruzeiros loss at goias. MITOOOOO CENIIIIIII

Achei um River muito acima do que a gente tem acompanhado no futebol sul-americano. Isso me chamou atenção. Um time que controla todas as suas ações. Ele joga pouco pelo meio, força muito as jogadas pelas pontas e tem dois ótimos laterais, um apoia muito bem e outro defende muito bem. - Ana Thais

Another joke statement by her. To be honest they didn't even deserve to get by Cruzeiro. She also said that botafogo was "muito Melhor" in the first half against Fortaleza. She doesn't know how to read the game.
Listen river is damn good but does she even know how the structure of the Argentinean lg is??? There are no off days for flamengo or gremio. If they rest their starters they will not get a result. The Argentinean lg has devolved to the point where 10 to 12 teams in that top flight would be relegated from the serie b in Brazil. She needs to actually do some research.
Even primera a fans will admit that their lg is not serious anymore and that it is just prep or a side piece to the libertadores.

@Mengão86 Should I be scared to bet Fortaleza over chape due to how chapecoense played against flamengo??? I've been on a crazy hot streak but these mid week games are hard to bet

I would feel pretty confident on Fortaleza winning. BTW, did you see who Ceara hired? They are going to end up bailing out Cruzeiro or Flu from relegation.

You are right 100 percent unfortunately. If they think adilson is a better manager than ederson than they deserve to go down. It makes me feel guilty for even calling for edersons job.. one would think it would have been at least someone with lisca status to replace him.
And what do you think about botafogo getting in this relegation mix ? And another thing that bothered me was marcinho being called to the selecao from botafogo. I know you've seen him a lot and I have too and the guy is pretty average at best.

I think Botafogo's roster is borderline relegation quality. But I was never a Barroca believer either. I saw about a week or so ago that Dorival had actually stepped away from the game to address some health issues but he is ready to coach again. I think he would be an ideal fit considering who else is out there. My only worry would be him butting heads with the veterans on Botafogo. I've seen fans ask for Cuca, but I'm not sure how well that would work.

would you guys agree with argel that the magic number to avoid relegation is 45? I was thinking about this during the week before he commented on this.

ITs kinda funny how Brazilians were talking bad about the portuguese league and claiming Jorge Jesus only won it cause its an easy league. Yet here he is owning the whole league.

Jorge Jesus is changing the way Brazilians even view football. ITs the first time seeing such advanced tactics, espeically in away matches. He is the master! What do you guys think of Mr. Jesus? Should he replace Tite?

What a gift on that 1st goal for Flamengo ... playing out of the back from the GK has reached ridiculous levels.

He has also said that this Flamengo team is arguably the most talented team he has ever coached and that it would easily win the Portuguese league.

His Benfica team is much better, I hope you dont genuinely believe this. Of course a coach if asked what was his best team will obviously say his current team. His Benfica team beat a top form Juventus who went to the CL final the following season

This current Flamengo squad is much better than the 2013-14 Benfica squad. You'd be hard pressed to find a player on this squad that would break into our starting 11.

As much as you say Jorge Jesus is crushing the Brasileirao, he had a higher win percentage at Benfica than he does at Flamengo.

You are definately trolling. Matic, Gaitan and Rodrigo all easily start in your team. I would even add Garay to that list. Flamengo was bad before the genius Jorge Jesus graced his knowledge on them

Palmeiras 99th minute winner. Seems like every game they are in trouble they always get 10 minutes stoppage time....

And they say we are favored by the VAR. Refs actually go out of their way to prove the opposite.
