Wilke produced every time he saw the field but ends up getting cut lol. Marcelo Flores never got a look from Chima even though he's been competing against 18-21 year olds for Arsenal recently, as well as playing in a higher level of competition compared to his Mexican peers.

Marcelo Flores and Diego Abreu would be an upgrade over anyone in attack besides Alvarez but muh 'proceso'.

I don't see why they insist on this proceso bullshit. Teun wilke is definitely a player that should be there. Diego abreu and Marcelo flores are also very talented. We'll suffer at the end like always

Dont matter in the long run, but diego abreu, marcelo flores, and teun wilke should have all been there, possibly the three most talented players in their age group, marcelo in particular is gonna be big

Its like the players in MLS or Liga MX get preferental treatment, I am not bashing the quality of the players over here but we have some good players that deserve it too

We just have a horrible scouting system. Like the guys that play abroad don't get any following and the scouts just monitor the guys that are a 30 min car drive.

That guy Kery was saying that after this U-17 there was gonna be some changes to that "proceso" rule since it was discovered the reason the three kids weren't called up was because they weren't part of chimas proceso and the ones that were called up in their place are not as talented as them. They don't want to lose Teun to Netherlands and Marcelo to England or Canada. So from them on they're gonna start calling kids based on talent and not on precesos. Let's wait and see.

disappointing to see some of the exclusions but they should still get looks in future tournaments plus there's always the u-20 WC in a couple of years, hopefully that's better than the travesty we saw in poland

Fn Argies dude. If they’re not winning by 2 goals there they go being slimy and getting in fights. I don’t care if we don’t ever become world beaters, I hope our culture never resembles theirs. Embarrassing.

To be fair they got screwed today. They had a fair goal blown by a BS offside call and the Mexican PK was pure BS. I don't get why the fed didn't get a non-mexican ref either for the match.

Bad decisions or not, awful decision making from the fed to not get a foreign ref, agreed. But it's always a common theme with these Argentina dudes. When they're not being violent they're being slimy. I've always kind of disliked them for that but full on despised them ever since they started taunting the ref to look at the screen after that 3-yard offside goal from Tevez in 2010.

Oh I always root against them and can't stand them but this time I have to give it to them because they got screwed. That being said I rather had this game end exactly like it did than to have lost.

Looks like we went up against ARG early in the 2nd half but they managed to draw it with a little under 10 mins remaining. I watched the first 45 thanks to a dude in the stands who was streaming it. Argentina looked dangerous the first 20-30 minutes and then Mexico had most of the good opportunities. Can't say anything beyond that.
