1) You find some agreeable Kurds that can be made to the outside world to appear to be "leaders" or "Chiefs" as it were to speak or made decisions on behalf of the tribe or community. 2) Then you get them to agree to binding agreements to have them move away from their ancestral homelands to some far away place in exchange for that new far away place and a buttload of money / resources with the promises of self-governance. Note: The money will not be paid, nor will the self-governance be made available. 3) Any who resist "Kurdish Removal", brand them as either savages or terrorists and conduct deliberate military operations upon them to either eradicate as many as possible or force their surrender and compliance with removal. 4) After they have been "removed" to the far away place, we'll call it a "reservation", provide them with only enough resources to survive, not thrive. Erect a military perimeter to limit any excursions from the reservation (can't have anyone going "off the reservation" and prevent supply by any "do-gooder" organizations that want to portray these savages as "victims". 5) Offer them (forcibly) education for their children for the purposes of assimilation into the culture of wherever they've been relocated. Also allow religious missionaries to offer them a path to salvation from their sinful / godless / wrong god ways. 6) Repeat for 150 years - then rename your football team, the Washington Peshmerga and have the fans dress up in brownface, those funny hats and wave plastic AK-47's at touchdowns
What a horrific commentary about our times that @TheEllenShow should even have to explain herself for hanging with President Bush.Good for her!https://t.co/pZMe1shJka— David Axelrod (@davidaxelrod) October 8, 2019 David, is it more horrific, or less horrific, than this
If Trump knew any history he would know that America was the home of ethnic cleansing. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/04/30/how-american-racism-influenced-hitler
The fact that you think this is a good come back is why I didn’t defend you when people were giving you shit about Syria, the Kurds etc. They weren’t far off.
Coincidence or not? Federal prosecutors were not intending to unseal the indictment against the Giuliani associates and two others Thursday, according to three US officials. Their hand was forced by an attempt by Fruman and Parnas to leave the country. https://t.co/BXj5EaTugX— erica orden (@eorden) October 10, 2019
These show runners are such ********ing predictable hacks. BREAKING: The FBI and federal prosecutors in NYC are scrutinizing Rudy Giuliani’s financial dealings with the two men charged today. The men, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, are charged with pumping Russian money into US political campaigns. Here's what I don't understand, and if Ellen elaborated on this and I missed it, someone let me know. I understand and even applaud her stance that one should be kind to people who don't agree with you. But in 2004, Bush actively campaigned in favor of denying her, as a gay woman, a basic human right. And while Ellen has much more legitimacy than I do to speak on behalf of the LGBT community, to me, that's more than just a policy disagreement. That's essentially saying that because of the person you are, you don't get a right that everyone else does. Unless Bush has repudiated that former position, I just don't get how a member of a group of people he vilified could consider him a "friend."
I understand your confusion and incredulity. You make complete sense. In reality, we LGBT people often have to interact with people who reject us at a very deep level. We are experienced at showing grace to people who actively harm our community. The saying that a carrot is more effective than a stick is relevant. While Christians talk a lot about grace, we actually manifest it. It's through our grace that their hearts are eventually changed.
I was actually hoping you would chime in. Thanks. I have family members who are gay, but I haven't had the chance yet this week to get their take on the "Ellen" thing.
A good time to point out that Hillary would've been a lot tougher on world dictators compared to this fat tub o' Jello that we have as president currently. He can't even articulate what our values are to the world. "Well we do bad stuff too"
Yeah, I mean, she was ready for direct aerial confrontation with Russia, which would have been totally awesome. And who knows who else she would have toppled and had sodomized to death by his own people? What other "freedom fighters" would she have laundered arms to? The mind races!
With enough fame and fortune, a person can forget and ignore some of what people see (e.g. Kanye West).
William Barr reportedly met with media mogul Rupert Murdoch in his New York home at a time when the president's relationship with Fox News appears to be fraying https://t.co/5o5Q89XBMk— The Daily Beast (@thedailybeast) October 10, 2019 Of course "Eric Holder met with CNN's Jeff Zucker in his New York home..." is a headline that would've exploded so many Republican heads that the RNC headquarters would've looked like the set of Walking Dead. https://t.co/nBFt404o54— Ben, No More.
