Wanna touch on this real quick. I think it says a lot about our football or maybe specifically our federation that none of our ex players wanna come help or even seem to be involved with ES. Diaz Arce, Cienfuegos, Perez, and i believe even Cerritos all coach or have some role in soccer, and do an above average job. Honestly it baffles me that we don’t have use any of these big names to helped produce talent for us or at the minimum scout. I still say a cheap option for our NT would have been Zarco with Perez. But instead we have that menso that’s there rn. Extremely frustrating. Is this serious? He makes terrible call ups, he has no tactics, created a lot of unnecessary drama, his starting lineups make no sense and some all time lows in terms of loses. Doubt it, the only bad result from Cobos was the 4-0 against Honduras at the gold cup. He the only coach to manage the team to the hexagonal toward the wc in 2010. What happened in 2014 and 2018? Exactly.
Um nope they lost to Bermuda and had to claw just to qualify to the GC by beating Jamaica (aided by some gaffes by the GK). He made no in game adjustments to look for the goal, the team played lethargic and needed speed to which he already nixed that by not even calling our fastest player.
