How TF can the ball bounce INSIDE their penalty area and not one of our guys get on the end of it

CHO excellent work. Tidy finish for willian.

Good sub from frank. One of the weak points of his early tenure but paid dividends tonight.

I think that in the early games the 4th official automatically put Kovo and Barclay on the display.

Thinking subs like the gilmour one vs sheff utd. Not always been a good area thus far.

Really strong mature defending from tomori there. What a player he is going to be. Cant wait to see what he can do paired with rudi. Could see some clean sheets even!!

Kepa is dangerous with the ball at the back

    good win. 3 points.

i think Valencia might be the weakest team in this group, which make it even more shocking that we lost to them.

If we can just rid of those silly set piece mistakes we'll look a decent side.

Sorry, not sure I follow the discussion. Do you mean he played poorly or well?

It isn't far-fetched to say good man-marking is the foundation of an impenetrable defence.

I also don't think we're very good in the air. Maybe that changes with Rüdiger though? For all of Tomori's positives, IMO he hasn't been all that good in the air. Also, I love Tomori, but he had a rough final 15 minutes and Kepa was damn good.

We'll get that though with the youth, sometimes it's a loose touch, or a poor turn, or a poorly timed tackle.

All in all, just happy with 3 points. Good little performance.

Yep, Tomori's only real weakness might be in the air.

Kepa was good, he is good, but he can be a little reckless at times when he wants to play as a sweeper. It's almost like he gets bored and causes a little drama for himself so that he can make a great save.

He means it wasn't ANOTHER poor performance, (like it's been ten or 20 in a row), from him, obviously. He had some good flashes but he needs to do a lot more to keep his place regularly.

I wasn't commenting, just asking as I didn't quite understand what Dr. I meant.

No I don't think that he played poorly, I was saying that I did not agree that he had had an underwhelming performance.

I'm hoping to see an actual 433 when we're fit again with Mount in the midfield 3. I think CHO has shown enough to force his way in with how little Pedro has and continues to show.
