Ya, I’m just bitter, biased, etc. and wish one of our better players were bold enough to give those leagues a go (even if for my own selfish reasons)

I'd have loved to see him go to Atletico Madrid but they don't have the kinda cash that Chelsea can drop.

He should do so if things don't improve by the start of November. Pulisic will get his chances but he will have to be patient and give his ALL when the opportunity arrives.

Not normally. It's easier for Chelsea to drop $60 million. It's less likely for AM to wanna risk that on a young player that hasn't built up the exact resume Simeone might aim for.

Anything short of pulisic becoming a star and he made a major mistake coming to this place...

He would have been better served at so many teams than Chelsea.. Sadly the price was right for them because they are idiots with their money and Dortmund gouged the heck out of them..

Chelsea and Pulisic will both regret him being there. Just a terribel fit for what they need.

At this rate I would have rather seen him at Bayern than Chelsea.. They play a more wide open style.

I think there's truth to all sides of the arguments.

-Puli hasn't impressed enough when getting mins and needs to be far more aggressive in going at defenders
-Barkley and Mount are overrated by Lumpy
-Familiarity with players weighs heavily into selection
-If there were to be a pro-England bias in selection, it is most likely to come from a Prem club legend and former England NTer than most others
-Puli hasn't done well enough to demand starts but has done well enough to play more than he has. The domestics do appear to have a longer string with Lumpy.
-Hopefully this hardens Puli mentally and brings out a stronger player

Or Chelsea can splash the cash on Simeone and bring him to London.

I think a lot of people forget that Chelsea overpaid due to their transfer ban.

They wanted Pulisic and were willing to pay more with the pending ban than most people would have for Pulisic. I love the kid but hes not worth they money Chelsea paid.

This what I hope to see as a result of him being benched, and minutes taken away by arguably inferior players.

I hope this give him the motivation and the push to work harder, play with much more tenacity and aggressiveness, improve the areas where he is weak.

We WILL see a much better Pulisic emerged from this.

Mount, Pedro, Willian, and Odoi are going to continue to average or less. Lamp will be forced to play Pulisic at some point. I believed Odoi is way overrated. Haven't yet seen anything like Sancho.

Pulisic isn’t going to play and needs to train hard and get the most out of Chelsea training to stay fit. But he is not going to play much regardless.

    Why?

Because Lumpy is a friend of Terry (an unethical idiot) and a general wanker and will be an average manager at best. Just the way it is.

But at least CP is pulling down a good paycheck.

I don't care how you feel about Pulisic, but this IMO is a big problem for him as well.

He can rarely go the full 90. Even his biggest supporters have to admit that.

I'd hate to have seen your reaction to Donovan never playing for Leverkusen back in the day.

Pulisic will have his chance. It just might be a while. It's only been a few games. Let's not have a forum-wide meltdown.

    I am not melting down.

    Just being realistic.

Donovan is a different story altogether.

I think as many others have said it was a good financial decision to go to Chelsea but a poor decision in terms of career development.

I just don’t plan to watch Chelsea till CP plays and then I can watch it on DVR - because if Marina and Roman thought it would bring in an American audience I don’t plan to help them out.

Like always American players need to carefully scrutinize the coaching situation where they plan to go.

Going as a sub for Pool with Klopp would have been far far better or with Pochettino. Just a mistake to go where Sarri was - and now Lumpy.

Hudson Odoi is better than him in pretty much every aspect of the game except for close control dribbling.

He also lived in England as a child for a year which was when and where he fell in love with the game.

Well, Pulisic was brought in under Sarri who plays a more possession-heavy style of football which would had fitted CP better.

Lampard seemed to prefer more direct-ness from his attackers, so that's partly the issue....Basically, CP will have to make himself a goal-scoring threat...The nice-combination-play and hockey assist may not be enough.
