Odoi can run, no wonder why Chelsea fans love him.

All you got to do in the EPL is RUN a lot.

He won’t come in. Chelsea needs players that can contribute on both ends at this point.

Whether its Bats or CP, it won't happen until minute 88 anyway

Willian finally score. He's going to keep starting until his leg fall off.

Is there a game day thread for this or are we just getting away from that? This thread is over 1000 pages. It will be hard to look back and find anything.

Why is Mount a golden boy again? All I can remember seeing of him is being dispossessed trying to run into 3 defenders.
What am I not seeing with him?

As I said before, Mount is Championship level. Mid/lower level EPL talent at best.

Mount and Tammy's early hot streak is officially over.

They're going to get worse as the season goes on.

Lampard had him all year at Derby and he trusts him in that system.

Willian just earned the next 20 starts. Cho with assist, but Lampard doesn't value that statistic as the assist leader of the team is currently the 5th option winger.

    And it's Bats

    3 out of 3.

Lamp is so predictable. If I am the opposing manager, I am laughing all the way to the bank.

It is always going to be tough when Barkley starts as he is a CM that can’t go 90’. That is one sub burned. Subbing the striker is also typical. That leaves one sub for CP to compete with other options. He just needs to find a way to convince Lampard he can be trusted to start in league matches.

Chelsea might be walking away with a win today, but the way they played today is less than impressive.

It takes a penalty, and a deflected shot to win the game.

The top 4-6 teams has nothing to worry about.

Pulisic’s agent should be on the phone to get him out of there.

    @bungadiri @dark knight

Are game-day threads still a thing? This and the McKennie thread are being flooded with game-day commentary.

It looks like the national team stuff is getting removed but there are a ton of posters making posts with game commentary.

I think it’s pretty easy to make a thread in the correct place for it.

Pulisic didn't go through their academy and he isn't English.

He needs to start thinking about a loan move.

Money, opportunity, and cultural relevance. Plus almost no track record of Yank success in Spain and Italy, so "sending" our players there is much less of an option.

And Spain and Italy have very strict non EU restrictions. But, in Pulisic's case that does not matter because of his Croatian passport.

Why would an English-speaker want to play in an English-speaking league, possibly the best in the world, that also pays the most by far? Dunno mate, it's a real head-scratcher.
