The referees for the final two Sundays have yet to be assigned. In comparison, the referees for Wednesday's games were assigned nearly three weeks ago. I knew PRO waited longer to assign playoff games, but I didn't know they were doing it at the tail end of the regular season, too. It makes sense, though. They can put someone from their top tier on the biggest games and use games between eliminated teams for trial assignments like they did with Joe Dickerson and Tim Ford the last couple of years.
I'm going to predict NYR vs DCU for the 5 PM slot, and MNU vs LAX for the 7:30 slot (though SJE vs SEA wouldn't surprise me, either).
According to DC United's website, the NYRB vs DCU game is the 5 PM national game, and Minnesota vs LAFC is the 7:30 PM game.
There is a game going on, though you wouldn't know if you were in New York. Maxi misses the chance to put NYCFC 4 up from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute.
NYCFC 3 - 0 Atlanta at half-time. Meanwhile, I'm not sure how Notts County's keeper got away with this. 1176611906318155776 is not a valid tweet id
I am glad I hurried home from work to watch this hahaha. I am glad LGP wore his concrete boots tonight .
If they take 30 seconds to start looking at different cameras they eventually get to this one.... pic.twitter.com/2nvr9Jaq9Y— Brock Wilson (@brockington42) September 26, 2019 Best angle on the SKC goal. Definitely hits his hand, but I think it's too questionable whether it's deliberate handling and support the non-intervention from the VAR.
Right before that (and this isn't telling you anything you don't know) = Hurtado isn't very good. Mannone MOTM so far.
Not usually what I expect - or want really - from my center back. Tense sort of game so far, no real chances on either end. They were selling SRO tickets to this one, and the team is raising Javier Morales' jersey to the rafters at halftime.
