There's a reason he played on the U-17 team instead of the U-19 team, although he was probably their best player. NYCFC in recent years has had the best U-17's and U-19's playing on the U-19 team. NYCFC loaded up the U-19 team, and might send them down to the U-17's for a tournament like the GA Cup or the DA playoffs.
Reyna, Scally and Jasson all played with the U-19's in their U-16 season. Gray was added for the U-17 season.

I apologize if this has already been posted and I missed it, but four of 03 CB Niklas Dossman's appearances for Mainz u17 are view-able in full at this youtube account: https://www.youtube.com/user/fsv1899 I've never seen him play or anything. Just noticed him in spreadsheets and found it by accident. You'd want to watch the games labeled u17 against Wehen, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, and SpVgg Unterhaching.
Credit to BigSoccer: '01 FB John "Xuxuh" Hilton is with the U19s of Volendam of the Dutch second tier, according to Transfermarkt. He trialed with them a few weeks ago. The official Volendam site doesn't list him yet. https://t.co/FsLUxboVSthttps://t.co/BGToMobKUi— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) September 6, 2019
Looks like a solid but unspectacular #8 type with good size and mobility, composure on the ball and the ability to pass and combine. 1171204404206325761 is not a valid tweet id
Transfermarkt says '04 Hoffenheim U16 midfielder Lucas Tamarez is American. He has the US flag in his IG bio, too, so he's a pretty safe bet.https://t.co/wHQLekBwgT— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) September 12, 2019

so according to Gary Keliban on twitter Johnathan perez, I guess from LAG, is the best 2003 player in the country. If you don't agree with him you are just stupid and probably didn't agree with him when he said Ulysses, Mendez and Efra were the best either. Is Johnathan Perez a HG at LAG? Is he better than Johnathan Gomez at FCD or Pepi or Leyva? Guess we should keep a close eye on him if Gary says he is the best in the country.
