So week 27 was actually fairly eventful in MLS. LAFC stumbled to a draw in Disneyland. NYCFC vs New England had drama, Bruce Face, and controversy (& NYCFC moving to the top of the East with the Win). Portland and SKC had playoff intensity and last second drama, as the Timbers put a serious dent into SKC's already slim playoff hopes. TFC handled the new boys in the Queen City.......seriously, FCC is an absolute train wreck on the field. Onto to a packed Week 29 of MLS action! All games times are eastern, and National TV games are noted. Otherwise make like @KCbus and get an ESPN+ subscription. . Keep it neutral in the N&A Game thread. Keep your pet names & rivalry speak to the individual team boards. Altho none of us Rapids fans here in CO who didn't make it to DSGP could see it, so did it really happen?
Yes. Too easy. I'm better than that. (No I'm not.) Plus, knowing you, you'll find your way to the Dick plenty more times in the future.
It's hard to judge the crowd with the baseball field layout, but the historic home of US soccer seems to be providing a...relaxed home field experience.
I hope people like John Strong's stories, because seems like we're getting about 90 minutes of them tonight.
Not watching the game. But for the sake of watching the world burn I'm hoping that Uruguay's right mid takes apart the US left back.
Well that was a lot better than Mexico. And that was absolutely a penalty on Uruguay. Kind of hard to see how the ref missed it. The intensity in the stands and on the field is a fraction of what we saw in that game, whatever that means.
It always depends on the configuration. I don't remember how things look in Yankee Stadium if they don't try to avoid the mound.
There are some people sitting way past the endline at weird angles, especially on the one side of the field.
I have followed the USMNT ever since I can remember. Pretty hardcore. Traveled long distances to games multiple times. Watch every game that is available to me. Research and follow the players. Berhalter is literally draining away any desire I have to watch and follow the team. This team is absolutely dreadfully boring to watch. I just don't know if I can do it anymore. I can't take another missed world cup and I really fear he is heading us down that path. Even if we squeak out a goal in this game my opinion won't change.
