Don't get me wrong, a lot of theses guys are below average players but we've had that before and those teams were grittier, they fought. This group is playing scared, tentatively, uncertain, thats on the staff.
I think he will still be young enough for the one we are hosting with Canada and Mexico. So Yes, baring injury or just getting fed up he will.

Berhalter's system simply does not work. And he'll play it into the ground. They haven't showed competency in any single area of the game today. At least they had some decent chances in the GC game. Choosing Zardes and Trapp regularly, #$@@# he's clueless. I don't think Zardes had any touches today. Martino knows exactly what US players can and can't do. Any Berhalter is just lining them up to fail.
He actually did acknowledge that the way they were trying to play out of the back was an issue, though he was kind of vague about it.
Berhalter, you see, we’re playing defenders as forwards and forwards as defender. I’m quite impressed with myself because I don’t even have to play my best players and get results.
