Miazga, Robinson, CCV, Holmes, Novakovich... better options than Lovitz, Lima, Zimmerman, Trapp, Roldan, Baird, Zardes.

The hurdle is obviously higher for foreign based players.

You need to give us concrete names of players that should have been called up and who they should replace. Again, we are still seeing a lot of injured players in Europe.

I remember that many on here made a very big deal about another coach saying the same thing about this exact same player.

I think it works out well as Nagbe doesnt have the skill set for the international game.

    I already did.

I expect more of the same on the field from these players.

that tweet makes it sound like those 3 get an out whereas others do not and are not all in enough?

As he's only now coming back from injury, I imagine Duane Holmes wasn't an option. No reason to risk it.

Lovitz is not close to national team level. Baird is Arriola's replacement I guess.

Gregg clutching to his favorites still. Almost Gregg, better call ups than last time, keep trying!

Glad to see Jesse Gonzalez there. Thought he's been deserving for a while now. And I'm particularly excited for Pomykal's debut, as well as interested to see if Boyd and make a similar splash to his first two games. Good selections overall.

Holmes just got back from injury and Miazga also had a tweak that caused him to leave the game after 10 minutes so probably good for him to take the break. CCV I get not calling in as he has 1 league appearance and 2 cup appearances with Stoke. Nova is in process of moving clubs. So only Robinson I think is a good case as a snub

Yeah...............overall good selections. Incorporation of the young players we wanted to see incorporated the most (Dest, Pax..........and the return of Sargent).

We will never be happy with every single selection on a roster.

Aren't we all glad that Toronto is playing through the break? Bradley and Gonzalez are on everyone's hit list and Altidore is on most everyone's play someone else for a bit list and see if he's still the starter.

I don't disagree with you, but we should all remember the u-23s also have a game during the break.

Hopefully we get a roster soon.

Horvath is the other big snub. I'd argue Lovitz over Lichaj is a snub but he may also still be injured. If Lima and/or Dest play left back, I'll be less worried about Robinson and Lichaj not being here.

I'm honestly happy to only have minor complaints about a roster for a change though. I'm just waiting to see the starting lineup...

sabbi is the only exclusion that bothers me (and its a very small bother big picture). sure, there are injuries and absences (weah, arriola), but falling back to "oh, ok, corey baird" is bullshit.

I don't know what your issue with that tiny portion of my post is. Gall is a rotation player for a team that was battling to be in the Champions League and will probably make the Europa League. I wish he played more minutes but he has some qualities (ie shooting from distance) that our pool is sorely lacking and trains with a good team. Throwing him in a list of guys that could hit to bolster our forward depth seems imminently fair.

Either he'll play or move. Regardless, he's one of our best keepers and should be called in. Next time Sean Johnson plays well in the Champions League, let me know...

Not coming back. He is back, He went 90 mins yesterday after playing 66 with u23s on Saturday.

The guy looked like he might be in the starting XI going into the GC. Id think you want that player in camp even if you had him take it easy.

Antonee Robinson is better than Lovitz. There's nothing in life I'm more certain on than that.
