Semi-colons are antitheses' best friends. Truth is I added too many words to the first phrase, so the semi-colon was my attempt to fix it.
One to keep an eye on. 18 year old Matko Miljevic got on the field last night for Argentinos Juniors for their match against Huracan. [Not his first team debut. He's played in other competitions with them.] He's made some appearances for Argentine youth teams, but has reportedly been in contact with Tab Ramos recently as he's eligible for our next U20 cycle. [A cycle which we already have a strong midfield group with Taylor Booth of Bayern Munich, Blaine Ferri of Greuther Furth, Thomas Roberts of FCD, Giancluca Busio of SKC, Daniel Leyva of Seattle, Gio Reyna of Dortmund, and on and on.] #AAAJ ⏰ 26 PT: Primer cambio en #ElSemilleroDelMundo. Miljevic had a nice effort at goal early in 2nd half, also this nice movement. Just missed connecting onside with Silva.... Some giveaways, but overall not bad. pic.twitter.com/Ie89gAmbBr— Arch Bell (@ArchBell) August 27, 2019

There have been previous rumors about a move to Holland for Soto. 2019 U.S. U-20 forward Sebastian Soto likely to leave Hannover for a club outside of Germany. Per Hannover's official twitter, negotiations are taking place and deal could be reached as soon as Monday. https://t.co/7Ec2fiu6gG— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) August 29, 2019

Another youngster from the US U20 team on the way to Europe. He'll join Ethan Horvath in the top division in Belgium. D.C. United loaning U-20 intl MF Chris Durkin to Sint-Truiden in Belgium through May. Option to buy. Durkin, 19, wanted the opportunity to go overseas. He will arrive there today. #dcu #mls— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 30, 2019
Europa League draw with lots of Americans. Missing anybody? Romain Gall/Malmo Fabian Johnson/Gladbach Timothy Chandler/Frankfurt John Anthony Brooks/Wolfsburg Tyler Boyd/Besiktas Matt Polster/Rangers Chris Gloster/Richie Ledesma/PSV (maybe) Ben Lederman/Gent (maybe)
Romain Gall/Malmo <-- should be starting. Fabian Johnson/Gladbach <-- should be starting until the inevitable injury. Timothy Chandler/Frankfurt <-- bencher. John Anthony Brooks/Wolfsburg <-- undisputed starter. Tyler Boyd/Besiktas <-- should be starting. Matt Polster/Rangers <-- I have about the same shot as he does of featuring for Rangers in the Europa. Chris Gloster/Richie Ledesma/PSV (maybe) <-- It's actually LedeZma and nah. Ben Lederman/Gent (maybe) <-- nah.
I think both Gloster and Ledesma will make their first team debuts for PSV before the year is out. Whether they get a chance in the Europa League probably depends on how the competition is going for the club. If they have "dead games" after clinching advancement or elimination, for instance. Ben Lederman was just a toss in I think folks forget he exists on this planet. Playing for Gent II to start the season.
Perhaps a move away from Reading for Andrija Novakovich about to go down………………. 1167570402757029889 is not a valid tweet id

Robinson and Lichaj both had man of the match type performances at left back for their teams yesterday. Robinson's stats were posted above. I posted this on YA but here is the Hull newspaper's player rating blurb on Lichaj: Eric Lichaj Recalled after injury and slotted straight in at the problematic position of left-back. Epitomised City’s dogged defending throughout, not buckling under waves of late pressure. Good to have the skipper back. 7 Meanwhile left back we actually called, Lovitz, rated a 5.77 on whoscored and his team lost 0-3 to a struggle DC United.
Players I’d call up before Lovitz... 1. Sergino Dest 2. Antonee Robinson 3. Nick Lima 4. Eric Lichaj 5. Ryan Hollingshead 6. Fabian Johnson 7. Chris Gloster 8. Aaron Herrera 9. Sam Vines 10. Tim Ream* 11. George Bello*
