in an unusual turn of events a visitor gifted us the new title. credit to @Sarcasm Bot continue discussions here
The tone of this thread title is not dissimilar from the previous 1. I wood like to point out that we are competing for several trophies this season.
Which means theres a good chance we compete the for the EL "trophy". This thread is collapsing on itself.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...rns-to-chelsea-training-after-achilles-injury Interesting, was not aware he was in line to return so quickly (thought he was looking at the turn of the year at the earliest). Big boost for Chelsea, once he'll be 100%. And although there still are questions in the CF department, a fully fit Hudson-Odoi can help relieve some of the goalscoring load, along with the other CAMs/wingers in the team (Pulisic, Pedro, Mount, Willian). If Loftus-Cheek can return on form also, I believe they'll still have their say for top 4 (even if they're still considered outsiders). Believe that 4th spot is Arsenal's to lose, with United, Chelsea and one of Leicester/Everton/Wolves with a chance to sneak in, should they falter. We should get a clue of how for real this Arsenal team is when they go Anfield this weekend.
Looks like this Wolves team just went toe to toe with Torino, won 3-2 in Italy. Didn't realize they had picked up Jesus Vallejo from Madrid in the summer. Between them and Everton as my FIFA manager mode team next year.
Serie A to be competitive this season? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...k-unease-while-inter-and-napoli-can-challenge Hoping against hope that Napoli can pull it off somehow this season. At the very least, fingers crossed, it will be an interesting season.

No way Serie A is going to be competitive, Napoli is still far behind and only way they can mount challenge is if Juve players fail to grasp Sarri Ball game..

Excellent move for him at this point. He finally showed glimpses of his old self, having initially losing his way in Germany. With how stacked Bayern's is, his opportunities were always going to be limited. And Ligue 1 should be the perfect platform to complete in resurgence. Still just 22 as well and at just 20mil, Lilles might have gotten a bargain there.
https://global.espn.com/football/so...01/sources-barca-consider-neymar-dembele-swap Barca should move with that offer tbh. Dembele hasn't worked out for them, as well as they've hoped at least, and things do not appear to be getting better. Like Neymar incidentally, he's a guy in need of a fresh start and maybe he can get it going back to France for the time being. Still a gamble for PSG, but one that would be worth taking from my point of view.
