I feel frustrated for him he was the Best striker in The CR League and possibly all of Central America and yet this is the best that he can get. It might be time to move on from him since he is nearly 30 and we currently have a ton of younger options at forward right now Choco, Rubilio, Rochez, Benguche, Douglas and Darixon. Alex might be headed in the same direction too.

Definitely see your point here. Although in fairness, those Eastern leagues aren't as bad as you might imagine in terms of rankings, last year the Azerbaijani league was higher ranked than the Bulgarian league for example. Although, the gulf between the tops teams playing in Europe and the average teams might mean the standard actually isn't as high as the rankings suggest.. Either way we want our players in the top European leagues.
Am I missing something? I think arguably the best team from our league should be able to at least draw with a team from the Canadian League, that doesn't even have a current national team player on their team. Our performances in CONCACAF tournaments, both club and country, show how behind the mid-tier world level we're at, in my opinion.
Naw. 1-0 seems about right.. Traveling up to Canada is exhausting.. Then playing on a turf field and missing some key players due to visa issues.. They SHOULD get the job done in the home leg even without fans.
Hmm maybe you're right, I do get that those factors play a contributing role but it's frustrating that we're at that level in this region.
