yea, Can dribble like Messi on one play and then take a donkey touch on the next

Pretty much sums it up and why I once referenced him to a bear in hibernation.

If he ever wakes up, watch the F*ck out...…

Drew a free kick they scored on by running at a defender, after a really shaky start where he didn't earn trust of teammates from a couple Zardes touches.

I guess he's really the starter now, or for now, then? Impressive. Hope he can pick up his play a bit.

And ... he's a starter for FIRST PLACE VVV VENLO after a 20th minute goal. Okay, so they're the first to play two matches...

Had another lull from lack of positional awareness offensively and defensively, then a couple of really deft moves with the ball, one to secure possession and another a chance. Teammates have bypassed him plenty for a dribble or ineffectual shot, and I kinda get it with how erratic he's been, but still not % plays.

Losing 3-1. Got better as Venlo has got worse. I'd upgrade performance to average. More comfort and intent on what to do after receiving the ball starting late in 1st half. Tried to make more runs, although they're meandering and not anticipatory. Half step behind in pressure, but mobility compensated somewhat. His strength is clearly running at opponents when he has secured the ball. Gliding and turning them. It's a problem for them.

Played on the wing. Might have picked up a thigh knock late. Subbed out in the 84th.

Venlo first on the table would have presaged doom for humanity, so it's good to see things are going back to normal.

Hagi must play plenty, it's not like they have many decent players.

On the bench as Venlo host Ajax today at 12:30 eastern. Game is on ESPN+.

During 2018/2019 Wright played 194 minutes (7 games, 2 starts) in the Bundesliga for Schalke scoring a goal. He also played 1,466 minutes (22 games, 16 starts) in the Oberliga Westfalen with Schalke 04 II registering 14 goals and 5 assists.

Haji is huge and fast. He burned a defender in a straight line dribble on the counter and nearly collected an assist with a well timed cross on the ground.

Venlo already smells of relegation candidate. Haji being their pressure-release valve late in the game. Ajax as if they were playing a training match.

He was in the Wright place, it must been the Jong time...

At this point, minutes is good. Get 'em, use 'em.
