Yeah, we're still doing this, I guess. The Crew hold the advantage in the "rivalry" series, claiming seven of the 11 titles, but Toronto have won three of the last five. Also worth mentioning, Toronto has a Canadian Championship (ha!) match tonight (8/14) and, if the first leg was any indication, they'll put a handful of starters on the field. The big hitters (Altidore, Bradley, Pozuelo) probably won't get meaningful (or any) minutes, but the rest of the squad will likely be coming in on short rest. Really, this comes down to one thing... ******** Bradley. ******** Altidore. ******** Toronto. ******** Drake. ******** butter. F U C K E V E R Y T H I N G.
Two attackers diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not defend both And be one defender, long I stood And looked up at an attacker as far as I could To where he headed the ball goal-ward; I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere pages and pages hence: Two attackers diverged in a wood, and I— I marked the one less dangerous, And that has made all the difference.
This is gold, Ponyboy. Pure god damned gold. This might be post of the decade right here. You must spread...
Cornerback ? Centerback ? At 5’6 I’m sure he would be great at either i mean he played at Penn State so ..... he is probably good at playing with either kind of balls
I don't have any idea why, but the list of players with the line-out entries made it look for a second like Hot Sauce Williams was on our team.
Odd that last season, we were done with Toronto by June 2. This year, it's the middle of August and we've yet to play them. Oh well.
A few years ago, we had a similar situation with New England...we didn't play them at all until the final 5-6 games of the season.
Looks like it's going to be a great crowd. They're not selling SRO tickets, but there are only a few tickets left on ticketmaster. On the plus side, they haven't jacked the prices up like they did last weekend. (If you don't have tickets yet, you might want to grab some today instead of waiting.)
I mean, shit, it could be @chr1st and @TRUJDUB for all I care, I just want to see two strikers together.
