True, although if I look at the schedule and apply that assumption it only reveals one kick off time: i.e. 21 June in Rome will kick-off at 21h00 CET for sure. For the other 2 days where there is a match in Baku, there are 3 kick off times so the Baku game could be slated for the 15h00 or 18h00 CET timeslot. Meaning there is still a 6-hour uncertainty for the matches in western Europe on those days. Furthermore, games in Bucharest and St Petersburg could easily be given a 21h00 CET timeslot, so can't assume anything on those days. Shame, because w/o knowing I can't really fly-in the morning of a day that I have a match - too risky if my match ends-up getting the 15h00 local slot.

Yeah, I'm facing the same issue. Unfortunately, I don't have much flexibility so on some of this I have to hope but two days are definitely risky. The most risky is that I arrive at Heathrow around noon on a flight from Copenhagen for the first game in London, which could be as early as 15:00 CET, which I believe would be 14:00 local time. And then I arrive in Bucharest at 11:00 on the day of a game later in the tournament. Just keeping my fingers crossed. If I have to change stuff around hopefully I'll be able to. I've been trying to find out when the game times were announced for the last tournament and I'm not having much luck. Hopefully, it will be shortly after the draw.

I was gonna say the same: try different web browsers because many websites don't work equally well on every browser type. When I paid the other day, I was able to do so, but at one point I was going through the payment process and clicking submit on page two (or whatever it was) suddenly sent me back to the start for no reason. The payment platform seems glitchy, so just keep trying.

Trades with a stranger are always a risk. No official way to do it. So you need to meet in person after May 2020 or risk shipping. There is a risk the person could renege. The draw will throw up some high demand games but suddenly some games will have little interest. Let's say you agree to swop 2 cat1 tickets for match 7 for match 8. Same price and same value now. Your match 7 could be England v France while match 8 could be Slovakia v Ukraine. However match 7 could be Slovakia v Ukraine and match 8 could be Scotland v England at Hampden. A deal now to swop semi final match 49 for semi final match 50 etc is more likely to be honoured as not too much will change between now and next May. Demand for Glasgow and Dublin whill increase/decrease considerably depending on whether Scotland/Rep of Ireland qualify. I suspect many selling now for Dublin on social media plan on reneging if the games subsequently involve Republic of Ireand. As per previous tournaments no worries re names on tickets once you have a valid ticket you will get in.
I might be being a bit thick here but can anyone translate how the four play off places work. Yes I know that it is basically one place to Euro 2020 for a team in each division but there have to be four teams to 'play off' with each other and that will never be the case in League one. Iceland will probably be the only ones not to automatically qualify but as there are not three other teams in the same boat do they play off against teams in League two. Bearing in mind how late these teams will know whether they have qualified for Euro 2020 you cannot help but think this system was decided over one of those endless boozy lunches that the EU specializes in.

Thanks for sending through the video and I agree it does explain it well but you really do wonder if it needs to be this complicated and what purpose it actually serves. Still think it a bit bonkers that the fans from 16 nations will still not be sure whether they are going to qualify till the end of March. makes travel, tickets etc. a bloody nightmare for them. It also means that people will not have any idea of what many of the matches will be at Euro 2020 till so late on. A mess that even FIFA will have trouble outdoing with their wonderful idea of 48 teams.
The real mess is if 2 hosts end up in the same playoff. Assume Scotland , Rep of Ireland Romania all end up in the playoffs then Romania are likely to be bumped up to the League A playoff. I reckon they will draw the winners of League A playoff in Bucharest, League B in Dublin and League C in Glasgow. So even say none win their playoff you would have say Iceland heading to Bucharest, Northern Ireland in Dublin and Serbia in Glasgow as playoff winners. Now say Netherlands, Rep of Ireland , Scotland and Romania all fail to qualify. Two hosts have to be in the same playoff. They could draw the League C winners in Glasgow with a possible redraw to Bucharest if Romania win the playoff. A not unrealistic League B playoff scenario could involve Bosnia, Wales, Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland. Ukraine could be drawn to play in Dublin on June 15th. If it turne dout to be Republic of Ireland then probably the hottest ticket for any event ever in the country's history. If it was Wales or Northern Ireland (much higher demand than Wales due to ease of access for travelling fans) then probably enough demand to fil lthe stadium with plenty of tickets changing hands. Good luck getting a tenner for cat 1 tickets for Bosnia v Ukraine on a Monday night in Dublin. I will be there no matter what but know loads who have no interest unless we are involved. It will be a nightmare for fans as you say. A bit easier for fans of a host. However even still tryign to book flights and hotels in Bilbao next April would be a nightmare for one game.
My head is spinning after reading that. Nevertheless, I still think its well worth it. i.e. this is a much better playoff system than previously used, even if it results in a 3-month delay before we know all the teams involved. Also, 3 months in advance is still a lot of time to plan a trip/vacation for fans of those nations that qualify through the playoff. In some ways its easier than planning a trip 11 months in advance. And, I mean, think about the CL final when you only know your club is involved 3 weeks in advance.
True. They also say 10-14 weeks is the sweet spot for the best airfare prices. Not sure about hotel fares, though. I'll be heading to Bucharest and Budapest (and Glasgow, which from London is a different thing), but I doubt I'll sweat the travel details before the end/beginning of the year, though I'll keep an eye on prices.
Anyone intending to go to games in London or Glasgow do yourself a favour and stay in neither of these towns. Stay outside and travel in it will save you a fortune. IE Glasgow stay in Edinburgh. Probably the same for many other Cities too.
I'm originally from Wembley and reckon there's quite a few decent places to stay close by. One stop from Wembley on the tube is Kingsbury. The Kingsland hotel there has a twin room for £78 with wifi and breakfast. The Stay Club in Colindale is also not far and decently priced, although usually books up fast in summer. Anyway, just saying there are reasonable options in London too.
This will definitely be the case for Amsterdam. Amdam has sky high accommodation prices just on any normal weekend, let alone when there's a big event in town. Given how amazing the dutch train network is, you could foreseeably stay anywhere in the Netherlands and get there after the match finishes in Amsterdam. Utrecht and Rotterdam are good options. Several hostels are even opening in Zandvoort, which is on the beach and a 30 min ride from Amdam Centraal.
