Might be the tactical setup but Godinez IMO is one of the worst players on the team. He reminds me a lot of Franco Jara.

Lainez just cost México a goal. We have too many slow players that can’t recover from a bad turnover. What a travesty. Honduras no trae nada.

Shitty defense gave Honduras all that space and all the time in the world to take that shot that tied the game up

    Seriously fuera Lozano!

Don't understand how he continues to be the DT.

These shitty synthetic fields should be banned. They slow the game down and the ball doesn’t roll or bounce right.

This ref must have had a terrible experience last time he went to Mexico. Dude isn’t calling anything against Honduras unless it’s necessary and he just gave Godinez a red on a play that wasn’t even a foul. Not having VAR for any tournament should be unacceptable nowadays.

So long as we give these key coaching gigs to any ex player who did some 8 week training, we're going to struggle more than necessary.

This team was never good. The closest I saw to good was the U21 version that made the Toulon final 2 tournaments ago. Ah well. Congrats to the Honduran players on the highlight of their careers.

Can't believe they lost to one of the weakest Honduras sides I've seen.

Lozano has the excuse that clubs didn't lend him their best players so nothing will happen to him.

Not saying it's a valid excuse, just what FMF officials will use to deflect any criticism.

    That’s asking a lot bruh.

Chima, Lozano, and Ramirez are complete buffoons.

Man, I had hopes for Lozano

But his stint as coach lately had further shown that Mexican coaches are garbage. Doesn’t matter their age

Time to bring in some Argies to take over the youth NT

Mexico out in the Quarterfinals of the CONCACAF U15. This really sucks as this team had been having the results before this and they lost in the important competition and at a surprising round. Although it matters less, this is kind of a bigger failure than the Pan American games since this team had better prospects in the competition.

I like the coach but he did a terrible job of resting his best players in the group stage as it was evident many players were on heavy legs in this game. Carlos Cruz ended up playing 4 games in 6 days with no rest and you could see he could hardly do a full sprint.

It's a terrible result but overall not worried about this generation, like you said this team has been getting results and playing really well before this and clearly has a lot of individual talent. They faced a team that scored against the run of play and defended really well, it happens. I'm willing to give a lot more leeway to this team since they actually seem to be the only Mexico youth team these days that are doing things well.

I didn't see the Canada game but saw the 3 others and it was clear that it could happen since the coach didn't know how to deal with the back to back days. They looked great against Panama and then looked poor against Israel. I don't know what the coach expected with the Curazao game when they had the result with Panama and just needed to win. I think this team has been going great but this tournament I expected them to do well but the result is the worst for a mexican youth team in a CONCACAF tournament in years.

    Otro fracaso.

Fire the DT and over haul the youth system.

Not watching but Mexico up 1-0. If they win this one comfortably it just makes that loss even more embarrassing.
