Swedish teams have loads of players from the Balkans or ancestry from the Balkans.

    Picks up an assist
    @Hammarbyfotboll
Vem behöver uppenbara straffar? Alex Kacaniklic löser det ändå. Framspelad av startdebuterande Aron Johannsson.

Was the first sub at the hour. I only saw the 15 minutes of the second half when he was still playing, seemed to place himself in good spots but was ignored by his mates.

Good for AronJo. I'm always impressed by players that keep plugging despite injuries that really take them off their trajectory. Can't be easy. Hope he get a few good years under his belt.

    Yep, there's a stream.

No, I'm not just giving it out because it's the only one in English in the whole Internet.

Best thing about the Swedish, Norwegian and Icelandic leagues: the fan chants. Drums the entire game, and Viking synchrony, like a war chant. Awesome stuff.

    ----

Hammarby scores in a counter! Aron (#23, in the center) not involved, Kacaniklic assists Bojanic for the goal:

Aron playing well, a constant pest for the Falkenbergs CBs. Carl Johansson just tackled him and both fell rolling around so bad, Carl had to be replaced.

    ---

The 0-2 came from a free kick, Bojanic again. Aron was close to heading it but it was a bit too high for him.

Second half, Aron's being ignored and only touches the ball when he recovers it himself. So they finally passed him the ball in a counter, after not doing it N times, and he shoots it straight to the keeper's hands. Bummer.

    ----
Magyar (Hammarby's CB) got a brutal header on the cheekbone and has to be replaced. The Allsvenskan is got a bit more brutal than I remember.

Just considering the fact this is a league full of very big guys going at each other with bone-crunching enthusiasm, it's not a small feat that Aron is playing lots of minutes and coming out of it walking.

After the 2-0, Hammarby conceded the initiative to the locals, so he's been often isolated at the top. He's been a constant pest though, pressing the CBs.

And someone else just got killed by a tackle that made him fly out of the field. Not Aron, I think it's Bojanic getting payback for what he did to Karlsson.

    It's been fun actually.

You could fit into that one something along the lines of “It Ain’t Over for AJ Until the Fat Lady Sings”

Actually it's more a tribute to the league, it's a rough one and so far I've watched all the subs are due to injury(!), so it may be just a matter of time until Bacon is up in the Hall of the Slain.
