Okugawa scored his first brace in Germany, to take his tally to 5 goals this season. Unfortunately his team lost the game 3-2.
Okugawa has been involved in pre-season matches. I think he will get a chance to prove himself this season at Salzburg.
1 goal and 2 assists. Okugawa played in this match as a second half substitution. By the way, Salzburg qualified directly to this year’s UCL groups-stage, which is a good news.
It's also their very first time they qualify, before they always failed in the CL qualification play offs in the most brutal ways like clockwork.
That's because Austria moved up in the UEFA Coefficients list which defines how many starting places each country receives.
Minamino scored Salzburg’s first goal of the season against Rapid Vienna. 0-1 at half-time. This is the first match of this league season in Austria, which means he scored the first goal of the Austrian season too. Okugawa is on the bench.

First goal for Okugawa for Salzburg after 4 years since joining the team in the summer of 2015 when he was 19 years-old. This is his debut for Salzburg, as he spent the last 4 seasons loaned out to other teams. Great to see him score in his debut, hopefully more decent show and contribution will follow, and hopefully he will be an integral part of the team this season and play and impress in the Champions League.
