    so i watched kangin play the first half in the valencia vs. as monaco preseason game. i thought he did ok. saw both good and bad. he did really well in the first few minutes but as the game went on, he didn’t have as much impact. he had a shot on goal that was a bit too weak and almost gave the other team a penalty kick, but you can see that he tried to create things and defensively he did better than i expected.

    as i watched the 2nd half, i can see why kangin could benefit a lot from an assignment should it come to that. fran villalba (a midfielder) who just returned from a year long loan at numancia (low table team in the segunda division) has been very impressive. based on today’s performance, you could even argue that he has a place in the squad before kangin.
