    Seemed involved based on the text descriptions that I'm reading on Fotmob. Attempted two shots right after coming on, one on either side of the winning goal, and set up two teammates for shots the rest of the way.

    Shame that he's stuck in this annoying late sub role.

    Last season he started 23 league games and was scoring at a 1 goal per 148 minutes. This season he's playing garbage minutes (221' so far) and has yet to score.

    The numbers do not support the idea that he works better as a sub. And the guy starting up front in his place, Jo Inge Berget (former MLS player too) has yet to score after over twice his minutes.

    And they're playing Gall as a winger/wide forward on the right now. I don't get it, it's as if the coach doesn't want him to score.

    ...they aren't using him as a sub b/c they think he works better as a sub.

    it's about how they feel about the players they are choosing over him. I think they are biased towards Scandinavian players, if anything.

    Gall did not make the 17* for Malmo's 7-0 Europa League first-leg win over Northern Ireland's Ballymena.

    * - not a typo, 6-man bench

    I don't speak a word of Swedish, but the responses + Google translate suggest that Gall may be on his way to AIK on loan, and that this is a rumor that is known to the Malmo fans.

    It speaks to how much the club values him that his first start since April comes in the second leg of a tie in which Malmo holds a 7-goal advantage.

    Penalty goal, 2 assists, and a yellow card in a 4-0 [11-0 agg] win.

    It's a puzzle, considering how well he did in 2018. 13 goals, 6 assists, in 1924', put him as their top producer last year, tied with Markus Rosenberg (13 g, 8 a, 1963').

    If they don't value him must be over something not soccer related.

    quick perusal of their roster: almost entirely scandinavian (mostly swedish with some danish, norwegian and icelandic)....

    only a few non-scandinavians on their squad: a nigerian, a czech, a french-Cameroonian and gall.

    something tells me if his name ended in sson, or sen or berg...he'd be getting more playing time.
