The guy who wrote this is a total bullshitter. Same guy who claimed Valdano is coming back to RM this summer. Most of his articles are usually bashing Flo or RM in general. I think he's a Cule and his RM transfer articles are mostly absurd.
I guess we'll go for a few weeks now with newspapers claiming "Isco is the nati-Pogba" and "Isco is the new signing"
I’ve lost faith in Isco. Ideally we close the Pogba deal and don’t pay more than €105/€110m, sell Isco and then use that money (adding €15m/€20m) to bring in Eriksen all in the same window.
Betis are close to signing Borja from Espanyol who has 28 ME clause. He scored 17 goals in La Liga last season. Only terms of payment needs to be agreed as Betis can't pay 28 ME in one lump sum. So they have no interest in Mariano and EC article is BS. If we sign Eriksen, it will be a straight forward deal. Spurs can use the money to sign Celso.
RM medias can be bad, but no way they are on the same level as the Catalan's. BTW, if you see any article/news/rumor from Jose Felix Diaz, just flee. Even many spanish RM fans can't stand him anymore, and trash him in the articles comments lol
Our midfield is a big problem and it looks like it is not being addressed. First, our best midfielder last season "Llorente" has been sold to rivals Atletico. Just wow. James may follow. Brilliant. Meanwhile the 3 in midfield who have consistently week in week out underperformed in the league for two seasons running in the worst madrid side in la liga for over a decade have remained and look like will be starters next season again. We almost always concede goals in transition plays when are midfield is way too static and fullbacks are too high up. I can't see any of that miraculously changing. There is still time to make changes but my hunch is that things will remain the same. We've weakened our midfield meanwhile Barca has improved massively with De Jong
Can you offer any constructive suggestion to fix our midfield problems, or do you intend to continue with your pathological nihilism?

Paul Pogba "is calmly waiting for his transfer to Real Madrid," according to L'Équipe.— Get French Football News (@GFFN) July 19, 2019 🇫🇷⚪ #Liga |Le @realmadrid espère vendre rapidement certains joueurs dont James, pour pouvoir conclure le transfert de Paul Pogba. Les dirigeants auraient voulu conclure l'affaire avant qu'il participe à la tournée avec @ManUtd. https://t.co/t4ZPfHAOAA— SPORTS ZONE (@SportsZone__) July 19, 2019 Spanish media said club will convince the likes of Mariano to move. You can only register 25 players and we have 30 now. So it's not like Mariano can even have a roster spot even with James, Vallejo and Ceballos leaving(plus incoming CM).
Gonna sound like a broken record I know, but Soccer Link should not be used anymore. They got another fiasco a few days ago. Check the Barella/Barry SL fiasco if you want to read more. And they don't take their responsibilities post fiascos. They block you on twitter.
Yea I have no doubt Pogba will happen this summer, the question is are the reports that suggest he’ll be our last signing true or we’re going to get another mid. Hopefully it’s the latter.
Zidane really wants him. More than MBappe imho because that's a profile we really need. Some people will be insufferable on this forum after the fee we will have to pay though. Juventus tried everything to not pay 75ME to Ajax, in the end they paid 75ME to Ajax + 10.5ME to Raiola Raiola will make us pay what he wants. Those hoping for a "bargain deal" are in for disappointment. Would love to be wrong though. But if the worst happens, people won't be able to say they were not warned.
Lazio president on Savic: "We’ve created a glasshouse, where it’s understood that people can’t be forced to perform their roles in an environment where they feel cramped," Lotito told Corriere dello Sport. "Milinkovic has shown sincerity and responsibility, so that isn’t the case with him. He feels good here. "Last year I managed to resist the assaults of other clubs, but this year I’d have fewer weapons if a different solution was proposed to the player. "Let’s say that I used up some of my weapons last year." https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/lazio-chief-gives-man-utd-18353526 If he ends up at Utd, Pogba to RM is very likely given the cost.
Their fans keep moaning that Glazers have taken out 1.2 billion out of the club for debt repayment and interests. Ole wants Bruno(60 M+) and Savic for 90 ME+ will be Pogba replacement. They are also after 80 M Maguire. No way Glazers will have 300 ME+ net spent after having 460 ME net spent already from 2014-18. Longstaff seems discarded due to 50 M pricetag so Bruno and Savic are likely.
Neither Jovic or Benzema is speedy enough to play on the wings, or at least we have better options with VJ and Hazard. Benz is okay but he's not going to beat defenders in a 50 meter sprint, which is exactly what Ronaldo and Bale used to do from the wing. Unless we use a narrower formation, I can't see Benz and Jovic playing. Also a narrower formation doesn't really benefit Hazard, Vinicius, Rodrygo, etc., but I can see Zidane sacrficing them to make sure Benz has a place.
Their fans on RedCafe also think that either he won't be sold or for what's United is asking for (200ME). And the fact is that Pogba didn't rebel, so very little pressure so far. I believe he will sign for us, but not for the 100ME some here are hoping for. Raiola with whom we don't share a great relationship will make us bleed.
Chances are we're supposed to finance their entire summer though, not just Savic. That people are still hoping that we'll get Pogba for anywhere near 100 mil. is bizarre to me. Anything below 150 and ManUtd did a terrible job negotiating.
