I wonder how many people will show up for a meaningless game against a starless foreign team?

 

At least one.

 

I go to these games specifically to see the youth. The last 30min of the Monterrey match, when Fuentes, Lacroix, Cowell & Calvillo went on, and scored was worth the entire event for me.

 

While I'm clearly no fan of schedule congestion, I do enjoy these friendlies specifically because you get to see players that you don't always get a chance to see. It's an opportunity to shake things up and try things you might not be ready to try in MLS games.

I actually kind of prefer them to Open Cup games, to be honest.

 

We will be at the game. Always fun and relaxing (not worried who wins). Get to see some of the young players. I don't care if the team doesn't have stars. Monterrey was a great game and I came away wanting to watch them more of them.

 

Any idea if this game will be broadcast in any way?

 

My Brother and my niece will be there (I'll be on a flight back from Maui).

 

The kids have been playing a lot in Reno. I bet they look pretty good here. I’d like to see Kevin Partida play. He had a monster game in Reno last week.

 

I did not renew season tickets this year, and haven’t attended a match so far this season. They are playing so well I don’t want to jinx it by going to a regular season game. So maybe it will be safe for me to go to this one since outcome isn’t important.

 

Reno has a game in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, so it will be interesting to see if some of the players that have been in Reno will be in this game or go on that road trip.

 

I wonder if Ironman will get some minutes???

 

Give all the kids minutes; cowell, Fuentes, Marie, akinigriye , etc

 

Tarbell will start also..

 

I expect Cummings and Lima to get decent amount of time, along with other current bench players (we have rotated through players fairly well).

 

Particularly Lima - should be fresh as a daisy!

 

Anyone know if there will be a stream?
