You switched up the order of responses. I just want to see some hustle. Markus has been at summer soccer camp in the afternoon the past few days. He looks like he enjoys playing the game far more than most of our guys have all season. I wish I were going to this away match. Instead I will be watching it from the comforts of Kings Island while my kids are on rides. Do we have a definitive list of who will be back/ready for the game?
He wanted to make sure I didn't have to scroll too far down for "lose by 2". I remember when I started voting like this as a lucky vote for the Crew. So far, the only one lucky has been me per the Grouchy Cup standings.
I'm falling down the Grouchy Point Table like I'm the Columbus Crew and I come here and pick a 1 goal win. Can we also get an Failing Fan Point Table too so I can at least move upwards on a table to feel some success in this life?
I believe Klejstan is suspended for this one. Orlando played 120 minutes last night, chasing the ball most the time (NYCFC with near 65% possession). Get an early lead. Make them chase. Wear them down. Walk out with three points.
Hey it's my exact thoughts before I clicked win by 1. I love when your sunshine shines down on me Hang!
Thanks, Big Stern! This little one note hate bag/Crew fan for life loves to see his Crew family happy!
Well, maybe we get some benefit out of sucking in the USOC for the 17th time in the last 18 years (I believe we have won more than 1 game just once (the trip to the Final under Robert) since we won in 2002. Amazingly poor. Anywho, some reinforcements should be back this week (Trapp, Zardes, Mensah). Maybe Accam. Let's get a win and start dragging ourselves back into contention for 7th. More reinforcements to come (Room, Diaz, R. Williams, Hamilton) + Bez did not nab that INT spot for nothing. Let's go Crew!
Officially, I think we heard that Eloy Room and Luis Diaz are unlikely to be available for this game.
That movie was all I could think about driving around the main strips in Orlando, passing all those 70s motor lodges.
No. It looks as though he didn't even make the subs bench. He made the bench for the July 2 natch, but did not play. Last match he appeared in was June 29. Lots of travel to get back to Columbus, of course, but he shouldn't be too fatigued otherwise, considering his lack of minutes.
What next, locusts? No details as of now, it seems. I mean, I'd like to think that if he hurt his knee with the national team and it was serious, we'd have heard something by now. But knee injuries aren't just a thing that tends to clear up in a few days, either.
I dont see any evidence that he played on the 29th either. Hes not listed on the game summary for any of Ghanas games. Not even as being eligible. Is there a source you can point me to?
He seems to have gone the full 90 vs Cameroon: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...eroon-v-ghana-africa-cup-of-nations-2019-live
He was an unused sub on July 2 vs. Guinea Bissau: https://www.google.com/search?q=gha...ari#sie=m;/g/11h6r2x18b;2;/m/01l5zn;ln;fp;1;; Click on the lineups tab. My guess is that he did something to his knee in practice the following week.
