Another Spanish cast off, as far as I'm concerned.

Do you even know the crap you are talking about. Kid is 19. How is that a cast off at that age. Man City and a couple other big clubs wanted him and we sign him and thats a cast off in your eyes? This is actually the kind of signing that is great to see.

He's one of the best La Masia graduates. Of course not all of them are Lionel Messi but guys like Thiago Alcantara are criminally underrated.

Atletico just spent 126 mil on yet another 19 year old kid. The market remains crazy

I know you say you dislike the Spanish, but you should give this kid a chance imo. He is actually a pretty highly rated prospect.

I'd trade Marco Reus for Joao Felix in a heartbeat.

Nooooooo! =) You'd trade the team's soul. Trade Sancho if you have to, he is a rental anyway.

I had been so busy I had no idea that Athletico had purchased Joao. Thats expensive as crap. I would think he should fall somewhere around 60-75. Its hard for a prospect to be worth that much in my mind.

Since the Neymar transfer, fees have gotten completely out of hand. Bayern are one club thats seeking to buck the trend but they are a laughing stock and their mgmt can't seem to get their feet out of their respective asses. Arsenal are as usual the biggest clowns.

It still amazes me that Ronald went for 100 mill last summer. Seems like such a low transfer number for a guy that great even at that age. The amount of people who flock to see him and shirt sales, and free advertising alone may be worth the 100 million.

Toljan to Sassuolo loan with option to buy. They are also interested in Toprak.

Toljan is virtually done. 2.5M loan fee + 5M purchase option.

Also Philipp is being sold to VfL for 18M.

Those are some decent enough deals to get off the books. Paid 22 for Phillip? Not terrible to only take a 4 million loss given his form last year.

Would be nice to offload Toprak and Toljan as well. Which the latter seems to be happening. Although there are a couple more to get rid of.

Rode to return to Frankfurt for 4M. Seems to be happening, would be wonderful for us. Combine it with Toljan, Philipp and potentially Toprak being offloaded and we could muster a decent amount for an alternative to Alcacer.

We still have two big deadweights in Kagawa and Schurrle on the books.

I think that both Schurrle and Kagawa will eventually leave by the end of the summer.

I have been very critical of Michael Zorc in the past but he's improved and I'm glad he and Aki learnt from their mistakes and are still learning and improving. We have a fantastic sporting director and he deserves all the plaudits heading his way.

Bayern, on the other hand have this piece of work.

I hope he stays there for a very long time.

Rumor has it that Dan Axel has asked to be moved after the signing of Hummels

Larsen valued at 18 million roughly could put him on the move as rumors to the EPL are beginning to mount. With Arsenal, Liverpool and United showing interest.

Also Dan Axel is being rumored to Arsenal. (per transfermarkt and Im not sure how accurate anything is).

More likely for Diallo to be on the move:

Wouldn't mind if Larsen is sold for around 20M. Do not see what is so special about him.

Diallo and Larsen are both overrated. If we can score around 55M for these two it'll be good business.

Looking forward to Schürrle and Kagawa leaving. I remember telling Schürrle to go fück himself when he signed and I was flamed. Have been right every single day since.

Yeah, we have made some boneheaded signings over the years keeping us from being able to compete with bigger clubs..

I mentioned this quite a while ago but Gio Reyna is going to end up being an extremely good signing for us in the future. Very good technically and I think he will play in a central attacking role being brought a long slowly to replace Reus when he decides to call it quits.

His valuation will only go up and I think shows a commitment to youth that we need to continue to embrace. Im excited about all these youngsters we continue to add and I hope one day we no longer have the need to go out and have a spending spree like this summer. While its nice to see the club spend money it also shows just how many holes we needed to fill.
