@mbar Thought the same thing myself and found this. Also just want to say that Stu Holden also called out the subs live on air, he was shocked by the Lovitz nod. And at halftime Mo Edu said Boyd should be first off the bench and is "waiting for his chance"
Where's the accountability from GGG on the lack of coaching impact? Where are the questions from the media on why he didn't address Mexico's tactical changes? His plan A didn't work. Subbing in different players to continue plan A is not a tactical change. There didn't seem to be a plan B.
That's not analysis, that's a conclusion based on solid analysis. When analyzing, I'm pretty sure everyone "tries to see what he's trying to do" and then they rightfully come to the conclusion that he's a complete idiot.
I guess you can call me crazy too.... First off, scrubbing Emo from the roster was just wrong. While more of a 8 than a 6 he would've been a much better option than Bradley. Anyone of D. Williams, G. Cameron, (even though neither had much playing time last year) A. Morales, Matt Polster, Chris Durkin, or Joe Corona were all available and would've been much better options...
you haven't seen some of those guys play and williams is coming off another injury. guys like polster/durkin/corona aren't better then bradley. you think bradley is too old and slow...and g cameron is ur answer lol...you've haven't seen him play this past year have you? I dont even know who emo is but I am sure he's a stud...just was waiting for a national team call up to show it lol.
Bradley is, like, the one thing I don't blame Berhalter for. There was no better option. People should be 10,000x more pissed about Berhalter's decisions at the 9 or his weird false 6 experimenting than playing Bradley at the 6 given players available.
For the millionth time, the #6 who played the 3rd most Bundesliga minutes out of any American (more than Pulisic).
McKennie and Morales are clearly better IMO and the following deserve a shot as well: Bedoya, Nagbe and Canouse.
It was obvious that GB selected a roster to beat every team ( which were very beatable to begin with) except Mexico. We saw this when roster was selected before any games started. However, I was very surprise they actually stayed in the game and with better quality score a couple before halftime. Coaches earned their mula by how they adjust during a game, GB failed miserably.
You make yourself look clueless every time you post this. Plenty of us watch the Bundesliga, it must not be available in Trollville...
Love how he needs to be "a savior". Who argued this? Is he replacing Messi, or a bald headed old guy who doesn't play offense or defense?
You just named a bunch of non-6s. You think Bedoya or Nagbe are 6s? Or, like, that Morales, Bedoya, Canouse etc. are first team international quality right now? If the argument is "McKennie is a 6 and bring on a new 8 to partner with him"; OK. Long-term, I would hope Adams is the 6, McKennie the 8, with Pulisic out wide. But I could have gotten behind a McKennie-Nagbe (or at least McKennie-Bradley ceding to Nagbe shortly after half) partnership solely for Gold Cup over McKennie-Bradley.
I noticed you post a video of a goal fail to see how this is going to improve the us defense? because the issue you have with bradley...is his defense. also the guy had one goal last year lets relax with his offensive abilities.
Emo (Emerson Hyndman) was called into camp along with a few others like Josh Sargent, A. Robinson, CCV, etc... and all cut from the final 23. Picking Lovitz or Ream over Robinson, Zardes over Sargent and Bradley over Emo just doesn't make sense to me. Yes, I'm being serious and yes I've seen all of them play numerous times. None of those guys are a "savior" but they're all better than what ggg chose, much younger, and have way more potential. Both Cameron and D Williams are getting long in the tooth but they're still very good players and they actually play with grit and determination. They don't just say they're lions, they actually still have some bite.
he is the savior because you are saying he is the fix that somehow will make the team better..there is no evidence of that at all.
Yes, a Bundesliga starter will make the team better. Just like Brooks would make the team better. This isn't hard. Now, what exactly is he saving? Making the team better =/= savior. Quick, easy, question that should end this nonsense. Again, just pick one name with no other diatribe about saviors or numerous experience factors or Bundesliga 2 - Who would you rather have starting right now - Bradley or Morales?
