it is official now: 🔵⚪ Bem-vindo / Welcome / ようこそ Shoya Nakajima 🇯🇵#FCPorto #WelcomeNakajima pic.twitter.com/PUPDKbpWoY— FC Porto (@FCPorto) July 5, 2019 He will wear the number 8 jersey. Good Luck Shoya.
They purchased 50% of his rights for 12 mil Euros. edit: 5 year contract until 2024 80 mil release clause
Thank you for the extra information. It is a relief that the Qatari nightmare did not last too long. Now he will be up against Europe elites in the UEFA Champions League within few weeks from now.
He seems so relieved as if he was just released from prison: O Nakajima deixou esta mensagem para ti 🔵⚪🧐😜#FCPorto #WelcomeNakajima pic.twitter.com/26OLGH6waF— FC Porto (@FCPorto) July 5, 2019
Thank God, he finally got out from that prison. I guess I'll be following Porto news and watch some of their matches from now on
The team has to play In a play-off to guarantee their spot in the UCL groups-stage. They are not directly qualified as I supposed, but I think most probably Porto will manage to go througjh.
Are FC Porto regularly so festive about new signings? They posted 9 tweets in the space of 2 hours about Nakajima’s signing. Either they are too excited (or want to show that they are excited to grab the attention of Japanese football fans) or this is their way of welcoming new players.
I hesitate to buy the jersey 📸🔵⚪#FCPorto #WelcomeNakajima pic.twitter.com/HxjGuvRs8f— FC Porto (@FCPorto) July 5, 2019 (I just know that french Porto fans claimed him highly guess he has really made a strong impression in Liga Nos)
Everyone rates him highly, especially Portuguese fans. I couldn’t find a single negative comment about his signing. Let’s hope he will brush aside his negative experiences at Qatar and light-up the Portuguese League and the Champions League.
When he started for Portimonense, no one really expected anything from him, but he performed in a manner that owed a transfer at big boys Porto. Now the expectations are high. However, Porto is a different league, with a lot more competition and pressure to do well. I want to say he'll adjust just fine. I just can't wait to see how well he'll do carrying with all those responsibilities on his shoulders
So his journey to Qatar how last? Their league is finished or paused in the summer? Did he play any ACL or only domestic league? I can't really understand why he moved there instead of from Porti to Porto. In some months he gained so much money? I know it's over, I'm just curious on him as a man. Imo Copa America open his eyes and if it's the case he must bow and thank Moriyasu sensei.
I am sure the transfer from Portimonense to Porto was closed back in January, and that the move to Qatar was nothing but a financial maneuver. I find it hard to believe that a player his age and quality wouldn't find any European club interested in signing him, and that Nakajima himself would accept such a downgrade transfer. Club football is nothing but schemes.
someone wants to investigate on that matter... https://www.record.pt/futebol/futeb...e-uma-das-que-ana-gomes-quer-ver-investigadas
So he went to Qatar for 35 milions and now he's going back to Portugal for 12 M and 50% of the property? Shady is an understatement. Still, I like very much FC Porto and I'm happy Nakajima will be playing for them. He'll definitely shine.
Who did this? It's embarrassing. They had the funds for those extras kendoka and all the stuff but they couldn't copy/paste his name? Plus that's the kanji for write plus the hiragana ya that has not any sense at all. Utterly stupid and unprofessional.
Fantastic news. From hell to heaven. Porto is a great club with rich history in European competitions. They made it to the knockout stage 4 times out of the last 5 Champions League and ranked 10th in the UEFA club ranking. https://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-porto/transferrekorde/verein/720 Fifth-highest transfer fee Porto has ever paid, which is impressive considering they only took 50% of his ownership.
