No se con que Chile nos vamos a encontrar en esta copa America. La falta de comentario en el foro hace eco a ese sentimiento. Todos sabemos lo mal nos puede ir, pero siempre estamos con la esperanza que despierte el campeón durmiente como en la confederaciones. Puede pasar?

Cualquier otro día Brasil habría ganado 2-0 a Venezuela. Pero hoy el VAR le anuló los dos goles a Brasil. Y hay quienes dicen que el VAR no ha cambiado el juego!!. Ya no es fútbol sino que se ha transformado en un juego de centímetros.

Another finale for Chile, Peru doesn't have much chances here.

I had the suspicion that Uruguay was not that strong. Well done Peru to hold then to no score.

And VAR also gave them a very big hand. It ruled out 3 disallowed goals for Uruguay.

One of Uruguay's disallowed goals, was generated by an offside that was the same type of offside as Alexis's offside, which disallowed Aranguiz's disallowed goal against Colombia. Offside by only a few centimeters, that depending on whom watches it, actually may have not been offside.

 

El VAR lo único que hace es roVAR. Ya llevan 22 goles anulados y todavía quedan 3 partidos. Yo cuestiono la correcta ubicación de la línea mágica. Miden al milímetro el instance en que el balón deja al que lo pase? y si la visión está obstruida como lo determinan. Todo es muy custionable. Para eso está el Asistente que el VAR no le da ni bola. Huelo todo muy mal.

 

Chile won against Colombia and they are stronger than Peru. Tabarez said that Peru had only 3 attempts without major danger. Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Uruguay were the best teams to watch at this Copa America.
Brazil has great defence now. Argentina will have problems against Brazil.

 

We can expect difficult match for Chile against Brazil. They seem compact, I don't see some major bad spots in their individual positions. They also share the team spirit, not only good individuality. Which wasn't the case at World Cup 2014, 2018.
Argentina won only against Qatar and Venezuela. Rodrigo de Paul is their future. Same as Lautaro Martinez.
Ahora El Clasico Del Pacifico. But I don't expect pacifism on the field.

Not good at the end....the result seems pretty shocking.
Next year, another Copa America. Probably the last chance for this generation to win another title (Medel, Isla, Jara, Vidal, Aranguiz, Sanchez, Vargas). The next tournament is in 2024. I failed in this prediction...
