Stones alone can probably justify the purchase of De Ligt. English defenders are totally over-rated, under-delivered... look how they were crumbled couple weeks ago under the pressure of intense (not!) Dutch offense :p

For some reason they play really bad against us. Their only meaningful win was Euro '96

John Stones was good for Everton but that's the upper limit for him.

ten Hag extends his contract to the summer of 2022. This is great news for Ajax.

This is a good thing as it sends a bad signal to the MFs that are coming up in the system. Here is the list of MFs under contract: Schöne, van de Beek, Marin, Eiting, Ekkelenkamp, Gravenberch, Labyad, de Wit, Lang & possibly Mazraoui who can move into the MF from RB

Read that Juve is now the frontrunner to land De Ligt... arguably a better move than to PSG. Juve have aging defense in Chilleni and Bonucci - and the Italians are, after all, known for their rugged defending.

LOL......gotta give him credit, he's really hanging in there :ROFLMAO:

  15. I think de Ligt is having a good laugh at all the nonsense around his transfer going around on twitter and fakebook etc. at the beach he's sipping his pinacolada.
I see 15 pa at PSG, followed up by 20 pa at Juve and moments later it's 12 pa and then Real enters the arena while they've the least or no CD problems.

I am happy with Promes deal. He actually did play before under Erik ten Hag back with Go Ahead Eagles in 2012-2013. It's worth noting that Promes played as a no. 10 back then, not as a winger.

Well, Atletico Madrid seems to be seriously interested in signing Blind!
I am not sure if Ajax or even Blind will agree though. I mean, the departure of our two main CBs will affect the team really bad. Also, Blind found his best ever form under ten Hag, would he sacrifice this to play for Ateletico under Simeone, who plays a completely different football?
