Judging from my NYC healthcare experiences with patients during the last several years ( and I would imagine it's like this for many other areas ) the medical grade pills in this " opioid epidemic " aren't available like that anymore . The DEA , CDC and FDA have clamped down so hard with regulations , guidelines and oversight that even the good doctors now have to watch their backs while walking on eggshells. Which in turn makes their jobs harder for treating legitimate patients who really suffer.

And all the illegitimate/bad docs who were over prescribing when this thing started ( for practically anything and everything ) have been mostly weeded out by now ...bar some of course ( but those few left will be caught soon )

At the moment , judging from my healthcare experiences , mainly the only people left in this " opioid epidemic " are the heroin addicts and by default fentanyl . You could argue that many of the current heroin addicts started on this path by way of shady doctors and pills , but the medical pills are not available like that anymore and are hardly contributing to this current " epidemic " as of late.

Also the pill problem amongst the current addicts ( before it turned into heroin ) was another insidious subverted attack ( like many others ) ....aimed at the white middle class. Of course there was some collateral damage against other groups....but hey....got a break a few eggs right ?

    https://www.darkmoon.me/2017/opioids-and-the-crisis-of-the-white-working-class/

Have you ever questioned why before this started that the regulations for treating pain were loosened to begin with ? Also don't you find the timing funny that only recently ( after many years ) the opioid problem gets out of hand that they finally decided marijuana is okay for medicinal reasons? ....I mean after all these years that marijuana was listed as a schedule 1 substance ???( which was stupid to begin with btw )... But hey... I guess having tons of potheads walking and driving around is better than tons of dope heads walking / driving around , right ? That is at least for the time being .... That is until they decide on something new , right ?

That Peace Cross is near to where I live and I have driven by it many times. It originally was constructed by private means on private land. The state took over the landmark when it expanded the highway area. It was built for fallen soldiers from that area from WWI. It is also near the site of Battle of Bladensburg where US troops were defeated by British forces before the capture and burning Washington.

Alito's ruling finally recognizes that the First Amendment does not allow the government to be against religion.

“It has become a prominent community landmark, and its removal or radical alteration at this date would be seen by many not as a neutral act but as the manifestation of ‘a hostility toward religion that has no place in our Establishment Clause traditions,’”

It was based on a false premise as the government did not construct this monument. Conversely, if the government tears it down, it sends an even more egregious message that Christian soldiers and Christians in general are not worth memorializing. The argument is not one way.

@Pietro Calcio Make sure these Catholic/Christians don't con you into worshipping the enemy. Most modern Christians are openly Zionist.

Faith is from within. There may be those who help you understand faith but ultimately you have to find it yourself. That means knowing when to ignore the con artists or those using faith to gain power.

Will the Dems get behind Trump in a war against Iran?

Or will they use it against him?

You are right! This Democratic Party are a bunch slimy bastards! Joe Biden raised $6 million over night and cnn and msnbc were gushing. Trump raised $30 mil after his rally and its crickets from the communist tv. I think in Italy they were called Rai 3 who reported all the negatives and half truths.

Common core math is garbage. Luckily my mom kept most of my workbooks from 100 years ago. We were learning about half numbers and decimals then. When I was in grade 10, my Dad was helping me with my math. He went to grade 5. My daughter who is a student tutor, meaning that she gets her work done before most others goes around assisting those that need help. Each generation is learning more complex problem solving later and later, and we wonder why kids these days are getting dumber? Imagine in @Falc 's day 2000 years ago. He was learning complex calculus at 10, maybe earlier.

An idea we need to consider is to immunize the state's democratic socioeconomic long-term plan from these shorterm power hungry clowns.

And to limit their age to 55.

It took forever using an abacus though. Figuring the sine & cosine functions were not too bad but it was a bitch with tangent.
