I don't like him, he just walks on the field, if he wants to keep playing in a professional level as a winger he'll need to run more, or become a striker.
Keito Nakamura is a little too selfish imo, he refuses to pass the ball at times when his teammates are in better position. His decision making in the final third is a little poor. Starting in Europe with the Portugese League would be good for him before he eventually make his way to the top 5 leagues that is if he can develop well enough to go there.
Individuality-wise, I think he is the second next best promising young attacking player in Japan now beside Kubo. I see him as a striker, although he tends to start from the wing. If he wants to play selfish, ok, tell him to work on the finishing and score then he can be as selfish as he likes.
I think he is more of a wide player than a central player. He assisted Miyashiro 's goal against Mexico from the wings iirc. I think he should go to Portugal to improve himself. On the other hand, I find it a bit weird that there are no clubs from at least Belgium or Portugal interested in Miyashiro. Thought he played decent in the U-20 WC.
He is now. But with his style, skills set and ego, there's better for him to develop to be a striker, that's my opinion. In some U19 matches last 2 years, we can find the attacking line up like this: Miyashiro, Nakamura, Kubo, Saito, everyone wanted to dribble first, everyone going for glory despite they received the ball from the wing. Worse, sometimes all Kubo, Nakamura, Saito ended up on the right since it's their favorite position, letting only Miyashiro in the middle (still outside the penalty box). It only worked in young tournament against pretty weak opponents. Some of them need to learn to position himself in striker role and finish.
The only pure CF in there is Miyashiro imo. Kubo and Saito might not have the build to play the striker role. Nakamura if he builds himself up, can maybe try in the role. His strongest asset is his pace and dribbling but his decision making in the final 3rd is poor. In this case, going to Portugal might be a good learning experience for him.
Acording to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona B is interested in Hiroki Abe and Jun Nishikawa: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mu...3/fc-barcelona-barca-b-japones.html?facet=amp
Abe might not be that young to play in a B team imo. He should instead to move to a club like Alaves or Eibar where he have a decent chance of getting some minutes in the first team instead of playing in the likes of Segunda Division. Maybe he can try going to Portugal or Belgium first for a yr or two before moving on to La Liga. Jun Nishikawa on the other hand can maybe spare a year or two in the B team tho.
Don't know if Maeda, Abe and Nishikawa have the necessary ability to play at Barça, but if I were a big European club, I'd acquire youngsters with HUGE potential such as Riku Handa, Yamato Wakatsuki, Yuto Otani (Gamba Osaka), Hikaru Naruoka, Naoki Nakamura (Sagan Tosu), Rihito Yamamoto, Shinnosuke Katsushima.
Those 3 aren't really that old imo. The main selling point of Japanese players is that they are cheap and they have good marketing potential as well. One of the main reason why Madrid wanted Kubo imo.
ryotaro meshino is in sensational form this season. dark horse for tokyo 2020 at this stage. hiroki abe needs to sit down and clear his head. this guy is struggling so badly at kashima but imho will come good by the end of the season.
rihito yamamoto... sigh... yet another tokyo verdy prodigy who will be playing somewhere else by the time he makes jnt in 4-5 years.
Kubo's generation is so full of interesting player. Not so sure why Miyashiro didn't attract some offer from Europe. Abe and Nakamura is currently not in the right track of their development, hope they manage to sort it out. Saito and Fujimoto are a very interesting, but i still think that Nakamura and Abe will be a better player if everything goes right. Everytime i remember Kakitani, Usami, and Kiyotake it makes me very sad.
Nakamura's dribbling at times remind me of Kakitani a little, silky at times but unlike Kakitani who is 1.77m, Nakamura is 1.8m at 19 years old, he still can grow a few centrimetres more and have a larger frame. I really hope he can move to Portimonese or maybe Belgium to develop himself. He really has the potential imo. On the other hand, I think Vissel Kobe's Yuki Kobayashi has some potential too.
I have to disagree, I think Koki Morita currently looks better than him. Can't say Yamamoto impressed in the Copa Atlantico...
Yeah sure mate based on the 90 minutes played by Morita this season and an U16 mickey mouse tournament.
