We're planning a BIG 4-day weekend in DC for this. We're throwing a 10th anniversary party for DC Armoury on the day of the Charlotte match for those that'll still be in town. Sunday and Monday are still in the planning stages, but we've got some good ideas. Anyone that'll be in DC that weekend, watch this space...and our FB and Twitter feeds as well.
Going to all 4 matches. If you find that you are attending one of the 4 and we haven't met, please reach out! Bigsoccer family baby!
So AS Roma bailed on the ICC due to Europa League commitments, therefore the game in Charlotte is now vs. Fiorentina. I wonder how many Tix were sold to Roma fans, and what that means for them?
Anyone know of anything special going on in Denver before the game against the Rapids? It's going to be my first Arsenal game. I'm driving in from Kansas a day or two before hand. Love the city, I was just curious if Arsenal Denver is doing anything.
If you haven't already, check out the Arsenal America page on FB. There's been a decent amount of information about the tour.
FB has the basics, nothing more. That being said, I wouldn't expect details about special events for another couple of weeks yet. Its a shame there won't be a trophy to display this year. There was a booth with the FA Cup on display at the NYRB game, which was kinda cool. Expect some sort of 5-a-side tournament and at least 1 local bar/pub to be the "official" meet up the night before/day of.
Gotcha. Admittedly, I haven't been paying close attention. It seems every time Arsenal does one of these U.S. tours, it coincides with a long-planned vacation. This year is no different.
There's going to be an Arseblog taping at a bar in LA on the 14th....$10 to get in. I like Arseblog and all, but I'll skip that.
I have a biochem midterm on the 16th I get the feeling arseblog will have a couple ex-players as guests now

Have there been any details on which TV channels might cover our 4 matches? I'm unlikely to attend any of the games, due to several factors. There might be a 1% chance of doing to DC at last minute.
Bayern match - ESPN2 Fiorentina match - ESPN+ Real Madrid match - ESPN I doubt the Rapids match is televised. Maybe a local channel.
For the DC gooners, what is the best way to get to and from the stadium? The bus on the Arsenal America site seems to be full. I've got a ticket to the game, and am considering heading down from NYC, but have yet to sort out transport to/from the stadium.
