Kovacic burned his bridges wothhis coments on Madrid.

Don't want him back. He's not all that anyway.

I don’t see Kovacic coming back and I honestly don’t see his need either. We are already struggling to give Llorente and Ceballos meaningful mins. Oh and there is Isco.

Don’t see a place for Kovacic here. We would do well to sell him and use that money to reinforce other areas. Dude didn’t want to be here anyway.

If and it's a big if at this point, but if Modric leaves I would just bring back Kova.

If Kroos leaves we definitely need to bring James back. Either way I think we should try and get James back.

If we sell Kova that money should be spent on Hazard, Dybala, etc. But we shouldn't be spending money on Erikson when we have a fully stocked midfield and players on loan because they are good enough to be starters but we have too many bodies.

If we sell Kova and Modric, we should be going for Eriksen. I’m confident that we wouldn’t need to worry about the holes that Modric would leave behind with both Ceballos and Eriksen.

I see Kovacic as a younger Modric, a player who can win the ball and drive it forward. Not too sure we have that in Ceballos or Isco and think it is something that is need. Am I wrong?

Kovacic is struggling at Chelsea... even if he didn't run his mouth he has shown us his level.

I wonder who he will blame for this?

    Sell sell sell

Kovačič showed nothing at Chelsea. Don;t see how he can come back here.

I think he has great promise as a player but stop believing these coaches that gass you up and then let you down. Conte and Morata and now Sarri and Kovacic.

He is leaving at the end of his contract so this is very much a transition period for the team. Ceballos could be the next in line or new signing, we'll see about that. Luka has lost a step or two, age is catching up with him but he is still outperforming everyone in the midfield department currently. He does not have to play every game or he is asking to play week in week out. Modric even with his status he is a very coachable guy. He is not a type of person who would rub anyone the wrong way. I don't believe having him around would cause any tension.

He really hasn't been good for us though. Apart from that goal he did ******** all except get pounded by Italy's midfield in yesterday's game too.

There are many talented players doesnt mean we must keep them if they are not doing well. Ceballos seems decent player but i doubt he has future here. Pitty? yes. Tragedy? hell no.

His attitude was always the big question from before he signed. His remarks after Zidane left didn't do him any favours, very immature in hindsight. I'd keep an option on him though, he has all the talent in the world.

Hes a pretty good rotation player in my opinion, and was always hard working when he played. No need to sell him just to buy someone similar.

I disagree with that. Generally looks better that he truly is, I think that's also a problem when it comes to the expectations. He's a player that looks nice when isolated to certain situations but he often struggled to be a player that keeps a game going for us.

Only watched the highlights, but he looked like a fking beast vs Poland.

A beauty of a FK goal and an assist it looked like. Created many chances as well.

You say you disagree with that, and then you proceed with talking about something completely different. He puts a lot of effort, and the fact that he doesn't dictate tempo quite to your liking or isn't the next Modric doesn't make him a bad player and shouldn't disqualify him from holding a roster spot in this team.

'Looks better than he truly is' don't even understand what you mean there. he's a Spain international and he still has plenty of room and time to grow as a player.

He has certain moments of brilliance but doesn't dominate or keep focus for a long period of time even within the same match. He Probably has potential but he drifts in and out of matches too often.

He's young and when you add the context of last season that seems perfectly normal.

Maybe, but time waits for no man. Especially in Madrid, you have to be at 100% when you play, no matter who you are.
