We'll see what Kubo is made of vs Uruguay and Chili but don't forget 18 yo is still very young.

Mbappé, for example, owes his precocity to his physical abilities (including speed)

But each one is unique and will evolve at its own pace.

Kubo rely on his brain more. so hopefully it can only get better as he ages. His biggest improvement over this season is his upper body strength, though. His colleague understanding at how he plays also help him a lot. It's noticeable enough that at his early days in Japan, he didn't play at the same wavelength as his peers so he often looks silly with his movement or his passing choice, notice at how he tend to pass into the space to pick-up the speed of the attack. Muroya and Diego Oliveira understands it well at Tokyo this season. Unfortunately it's only at individual level, not at team level.

Do you think Kubo has the ability to start at a club like Real despite tbe discrimination?

yeah, physically Kubo seems to be a late bloomer. 1~2 years ago he still looked small even in comparison with his same age teammates. But in the last year he growth a lot, quick googling around and he's now slightly taller than Doan, and in some camera angle I had a illusion he's even taller than Nagai o_O That's just the height, he's not even focus on his muscle building yet.

If the coach can train him correctly to build up decent muscle and not losing his pace, he can move up another level. For that I think the next 2 years are crucial and we should refrain any judgement for his true ability until he reaches 20

    Who knows.
After all, they have recruited him despite of his nationality.
At least, he deserves Zidane to give him a true chance to prove what he is capable of.

    The rest depends on him.

(very hard to say whether a 18-year-old can succeed in the world's biggest club... at least Kubo has the advantage of speaking the local language, contrary to someone like Usami when he arrived in Germany... even though i don't compare them)

They were saying on TV in the last year or so he's put on 6cm in height, and 7kg in weight.

He'll probably add a few my cm, and hopefully add maybe 5kg weight more. Get some training advice from Yuto Nagatomo who's a diminutive ********ing tank.

I said this so many years now and it is the truth. Unfortunately asian players needs to do more and little extra to get the same recognition.

Or get some doping advice from Messi who was la Pulga till his transfer to LaLiga.

Anyway I think that Real Madrid is "too big" to let stupid things as nationality have a weight in a player's rating. Probably it works for small (minded and not) team from Serie A and LaLiga but not for Top Club where you are valued only on your real skills.

Thousands of kids have played at Castillas, 99% of them are probably not even playing football. Your point is?

Comparing him with Kang In is bad for Kubo's confidence/morale. Let's not forget KangIn is worth 20x of Kubo's right now (look at transfermarkt). Better to compare Kubo with a Lee Seung Woo. High expectations break a player.

I think we shall start a hashtag #FreeNakajima as Nakjima needs to get out of Qatar as soon as possible. His finishing, passing, and dribbling had deteriorated since moving to Qatar singnifincantly.

Maeda could have scored easily from that 1-on-1 but strangely wasted it.

Both Daizen Maeda and Ayase Ueda need to improve their finishing, they both have great and world-class positioning. Moreover, both have further advantages; Ueda has his height and aerial threat , while Maeda has his speed and pace.

All what Daizen Maeda and Ayase Ueda need right now is to get good coaching to improve their finishing skills. I really hope Maeda gets a transfer to Europe to treat this shortcoming, or either move to another J1 club, as being coached by a defensive coach like Sorimachi certainly does not help.

Just get out of here and go hang out with your fellow idiot his greatness LKI groupies out there at Valencia Mestalla training ground, hoping and praying that LKI will manage to give a Valencia Mestalla some magical moment or a glorious win at Segunda B or UEFA Youth League next year.

Have not been very impressed with Kubo. Lot of flash but lacks basic fundamentals. He needs to really simplify his game.

Just don’t bite the bait then. You’re going to see a lot more these now that BSK is an inactive forum with one fanboy posting inane same highlight videos over and over again.

Just ignore and talk about Kubo. Simple.

Someday in a near future, Kubo and LKI will play El Clasico giving asian football a new dimension and you will forgot about these trolling days.

On that day, trolls will focus on issues like : "Which one has completed one more pass than the other", believe me.

This "Steve Kim" is a troll (obviously) whose first account was "Krillin." This is his fifth account that he's made on BS and he's repeatedly started up trouble on BSK and it seems that he's come here to talk nonsense as well to try to stir up animosity between both communities. If you see a random account acting weird and toxic, it's most likely him. So sorry to y'all that you've had to suffer this stupidity
