41 teams to be divided into three leagues, with promotion/relegation.

All games to be within the FIFA calendar, so not sure how many games per "season" they will be able to fit in.

I'm ambivalent about the whole idea, thought I like the idea of tiering teams

And I know this is just me, but can we add a sportsmanship filter to the tiering? So, for example, if your fans routinely throw stuff at opposing players, you can't be in the first tier. Or if your players start egregiously faking injury the instant they have a lead (talking about you, Honduras), you can't be in the first tier.

And also, if you have't got a single playable pitch in the entire country, you can't be in the first tier either.

Looking forward to more battles with St. Kitts, Guadeloupe and other Caribbean nations. After all, we couldn't beat T&T so why not see what other powers are down there.

Congratulations to Shalrie Joseph for leading Grenada to their first win in Nations League Qualification, 5-2 over St Martin.

The fourth and final round of qualifying comes in March. Qualification determines (among other things) the six teams that will join US and the other 5 teams from the Hex in League A. Grenada will need a result against Puerto Rico in March to qualify for League B.

    League play begins in September.

In addition to seeding the nations league, the top 10 finishers qualify for the gold cup. I'm pulling for Montserrat, an island nation of 5000 which is still recovering from volcanic fallout. They would almost assuredly qualified with a win over the cayman islands in their final match

Shalrie Joseph led his Grenada squad to a 2-0 victory over Puerto Rico, earning a spot in League B.

This final six spots in League A were claimed by: Haiti, Canada, Martinique, Curacao, Bermuda and Cuba. The six teams from the Hex had automatic qualification for League A.

On Wednesday, League A will be drawn into 4 groups of 3. Each team will play 4 group matches beginning in September. The 4 group winners will play the semi-finals in March of 2020.

I'm sad tiny Montserrat couldn't sneak in to the Gold Cup. They were the only 3 win team not to make it, all because they didnt curb stomp the lowly Cayman Islands to boost their goal diff

How did Bermuda make it into League A?

Did anyone else have to google Bonaire? :)

I know this was a rhetorical question, but I'll answer it anyway. :D

Basically, they beat up on Sint Maarten, 12-0. They went 3-1 in qualifying, and their +13 GD got them in.

OMG. How embarrassingly unfair to St. Maarten. Did they celebrate all those goals? Do all the ex-canadian WNT players know about this? Will they right this injustice?

They are in the middle of the A, B, C's, between Aruba and Curacao. Probably not big in footy, but top-tier in scuba/snorkeling!

C’mon, Uncle Desmond will graze his goats out there a couple of days before the game and that should be enough to nice it all up!

    Definitely not what I wanted.

But, kind of what I expected based on the coach's tactics, his personnel selections, and his superiors's priorities at USSF
