Seems like Matias Almeyda's tactics are coming to fruition and the players are respodning. From the mlssoccer.com. Some of Matias’s half time talk during the US Open cup match. And some post game remarks.
Does Di Marzio or Solano have any neat factoids on how many women it takes to beat Giannis or James Harden in a game?
Abby Wambach basically said anyone who criticizes USWNT is being sexist, because they'd never criticize a men's team for running it up. Except we do all of the time. Jimmy Johnson famously said, "it's not our fault if you suck."
I'm not sure anyone cares about the score. It's how they acted as they were pouring in the 10th, 11th and 12th goal etc. More to the point and something that does in fact differ in the mens and women's game is you pull that crap on a mens team, pub league all the way up to the pros, and flying studs up challenges with bad intentions and red cards ensue. Lastly why does any criticism of that team get turned into a social justice issue? They're always the victims.
Seems to me that being the best for so long has made them lose touch. Everything they do is right and everything bad that ever happens is an injustice.
So Griezmann is going to Barca after all. I don’t think he’ll be Coutinho bad, but I could see a similar situation. I don’t really see him blending with Barca’s style as well as his current setup.
Yeah, I don't like Greiz at all, but I would agree with that. Coutinho was so obviously a desperation move after PSG took Neymar from them. It was bad business then, and it remains so. Frankly, I don't think Barca's been particularly good in the transfer market for quite some time now. But hey, at least the people here can stop theorizing about why Messi "blocked" a move for Greizmann over jealousy or something like that....lmao.
Arjen Robben is available on a free transfer this summer when his contract with Bayern Munich expires and has emerged as a target for Lazio. Tottenham are getting closer to the signing of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. (Source: Sky Italy) pic.twitter.com/ZOg7qNjxtw— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) June 12, 2019 This kid's a beast. Really out of character signing for Spurs if they pull it off.
This Ligue 1-Uber Eats sponsorship deal is the gift that keeps on giving. Reportedly, part of the deal coming in next year is that the match ball will be “delivered” to the pitch - https://t.co/FKNGtbsqey - Via @lequipe.— Jonathan Johnson (@Jon_LeGossip) June 13, 2019
I mean, I do watch MLS and the US men's team. I don't seek it out, but if I'm around and it's on, I'll watch.
You torture yourself with those and on top of it, you finish it off with Roma and Arsenal. You're sick in the head
Well he's built for the English game. Let's see if his talent is legit. Could be a top 4 striker in a couple of seasons.
Yep. Just wanted to see him Serie A, tbh. Maybe if Villa gets relegated, we'll have a shot. Probably not when you see what the likes of Mitrovic is rumored to be going for, though.
