Well I now officially hate Rapino. She was the only one I saw on the US team that did not cross her heart or even pretend to sing. After watching the pregame show of they ones that went to Normandy and talked to some veterans, she's a disgrace .and I wish Ellis would sit her down over that, Even Ellis participated and she wasnt born here. Im embarassed and angry.

No goal for offside. I would have appreciated another replay.

03' 0-0 Mewis goes down box left to 6m, ground cross to 6-top left cleared away. Heath shoots from arc top mid-right, tame effort to Chor Charoenying.

04' 0-0 Lavelle darts to box top mid-right, veers left along box top all the way to center, never opens a window -- finally shoots left foot anyways, blocked away. Mewis shoots long to goalline 2/5 left face-high, Chor Charoenying blocks rightward and chases it through 6-right, falls on it as Morgan applies pressure.

05' 0-0 Morgan backheel sends Lavelle down box right to 7m mid-right, cross blocked over. Quick right ck, Lavelle backpass (and gets tripped, no call). Dahlkemper hoofs from 32m wide right to 5m left post, Horan jumps with Chor Charoenying -- Mewis is 1 step offside behind both. Ball pops rightward to 2m 1/3 right, Morgan sweeps knee-high left instep to tap in. Offside called.

That one replay looked awfully close. Wish they had looked longer. She looked off live, but might have been even with the ball on the replay?

US has a huge advantage in the air and they are taking short corners??

I would appreciate some more direct play from the US instead of cute buildup and short corners. Get ahead and then figure this tournament out.

Great ball movement gets the whole offense involved, and Heath almost scores on a mishit cross that was over the goalie and just over the far upper 90.

Short cornering against this weak goalie is the wrong game plan. Terrible.

Thailand is doing a great job at hustling to block shots and crosses. I highly doubt they can keep this up - already seems exhausting.

10' 0-0 Dahlkemper floats a serve to 5m center, Chor Charoenying catches.

11' 0-0 Lavelle turns past Thongsombut, passes Morgan facing away at arc top. Slight clang away, Morgan pokes back to Horan, vertical through-ball down mid-left sends Rapinoe sliding to 5m -- cross blocked left.

11' 0-0 O'Hara crosses to spot, Mewis grasstop volley spins wide right.

12' 1-0 O'Hara fires a low fast cross from 9m mid-right to 5m 1/4 left. Morgan jumps behind Chinwong, twist-heads perfectly to 1/6 left low.

Yes, the goalkeeper was late. It's nice to see Rose has the green light. She has shown some extra determination to shoot early.

Morgan skied that shot on a Dunn cross.

Nice powerful screwball shot from 20' by Lavelle. Too much for Thailand's poor overmatched keeper.
