The good thing for NT is when it comes to fullbacks on the right, there is no shortage. Tete (23), Dumfries (23), Karsdorp (23), Hateboer (25). For next two world cups, they are sorted.
DeLigt is still only 19 and has played 14 games in a row for Oranje already. Sunday will be his 15th. Thats amazing!
El Ghazi signed a 4-year contract for the Villans. Let's hope he shines at this step of his career. I'm quite sure he has the talent, but I have doubts about his mentality to be honest. I hope to be proven wrong.
He was a regular for a short period of time under FdB but fell out of favor with Bosz (as did Tete). He also stayed with the Dutch NT rather than play for Morocco so I give him a big salute on that and he was called up to play in two matches. He was able to get his career back on track for Villa in the English Championship which is a real grind as they have 24 teams in the league and play a lot more matches. He was better than decent and I'm glad Villa are picking up his contract. I always felt he was a potential #9 because of his height and shot; also I don't think he is quick enough to play on the wing. We will see how he plays next season in the EPL and I'm not dismissing his chance for the NT.

Well, they read my posts in his thread where I big him up major league so Ajax will buy him and then he goes the Per Schuurs way...
Vincent Kompay left ManCity. What's that going to mean for Sandler? It could be possible he follows Kompay to Anderlecht on a loand deal or could Pep have bigger plans with him?
AZ 17 year old youngster Mohamed Taabouni has been promoted to AZ first team and will play with shirt no. 34 next season. But man, the kid has some serious skills! His goal in 1:15 is so Bergkamp-esque!
Maguire and Koulibaly are on the radar for city. If they sign either sandler should move out on loan. Pep did mention he is planning to use Garcia and sandler extensively next season. The thing with sandler is he could also be a cover up in the midfield for future as well.
Robben announced his retirement from soccer. Sad day for his fans (including me). He is a more game changer player for me (than Sneijder, Van Der Vaart, Van Persie, Huntelaar). I was hoping that Koeman could convince him to join Nations League SF and Final (like Ronaldo) and who knows if he could make the difference. Now he retires (rather than return to Eredivisie or try MLS) then he will not be fit for Euro. Thank you Robben!
This, the same. Two legends left the stage this end of the season. 45 years after Dutch football became legendary and trendsetting up till this day. May the ladies coming Sunday exactly on the same day as the 1974 Final become the stuff of the continuation of our legendary heritage.
^^I still remember the break away chance he had against Casillas in the 2010 WC. It was so close to happening for the Dutch team but he couldn't make it work. A true great for both club and country and it's good to see him retiring rather than trying to play through injuries at this point.
After the practice friendly of Ajax vs Aalborg CD Magallan didnot impress at all. Per Schuurs did a much better job. It's getting crowded in Amsterdam with CD's as Ajax is hunting for Alvarez, who has a limited transfer sum and Kik Pierie coming in too.
Dutch defender Philippe Sandler will leave Manchester City for Anderlecht on loan. I wish PSV came after him... Van Bommel is thin on the backline, and I think a young lad like Sandler could use Eredivisie as a platform to regain confidence and form, and eventually get back to the "mother ship" (see: Angelino).
Defenders like Ridewald, van Drongelen and Kongolo can be top notch for either PSV, Feynoord or even AZ. They are young. Going back to Eredivisie will revive their careers and can even get them back to Oranje.
Sergiño Dest: the accidental USA star aiming to become Ajax's Marcelo. By @RyanBaldiFW https://t.co/vWin17sndE— Guardian sport (@guardian_sport) July 18, 2019 Not sure what to think of this article. He should play for the Netherlands. He is born and raised here. Schooled by Dutch institutions. Would he still get a Guardian article, before a single Eredivisie game, if he didn't have an American passport?
