Missing handball and penalty too plus Salzburg's post.
Let's hope Hiroki will play the final.

Despite being available he totally missed the Europa League final... Probably Payet injury didn't help.

Anyway even with a 0 - 3 it's a pity he missed the possibility to experience a european final stage.

Atletico madrid was too much for Marseille.
    It's Marseille's 3rd loss in a Europa League final. Disappointed Hiroki didn't play :(

I don’t get the decision not to start him. He was a starter for most of the season and performed well. That should be enough to earn the coach’s trust for the big game, but I guess not. To me Sakai is clearly better than Sarr as a RB overall, though I’m biased of course. Disappointing that one of our national team players didn’t get the experience of playing a major final like this. The coach’s team selection was fearful and poor overall, leaving Lopez on the bench too.

Little weird, but remember that injury recently. Could be that?
Well does not matter now, great season for Sakai anyway.

Assist for Hiroki, as he helped his team to win 2-3 away against Monaco.

He played the full match tonight.

Almost had an assist, but Mitroglu headed the ball inches wide.

Sakai played 90 minutes in the last EL game. Lost 1-3. They got 1 point overall. Totally embarrasing if you ask me.

Well last time they reached the final so don't be too harsh with them, they are a second tier team in their league and that's the best they can do.
At least Monaco did worst in UCL.

OM ist not a second Tier team. They are one of the better teams in Europe. Very good and strong team.

They are struggling a little this season. The should easily go through the group stage, but Lazio and Frankfurt are very strong opponents. But 1 point for one of the most entertaining Teams in Europe last season ist way to low.

I saw it on the news, but did not post it, as I don’t believe it will happen.
