Who said women's football was boring? There is more excitement here in 25 minutes than in the entire men's champions league final.

Menwhile I guess I found a BBC feed with comment in Scottish. Or at least the accent sounds weird to my uneducated ears!

From what I have seen this WC, so far only 1 VAR decision is questionable.

England's Alex Greenwood is wearing a surprising amount of eye liner.

29' 1-0 Scotland get forward in numbers, Emslie shot saved.

31' 1-0 Brief stoppage: Kirby is seated at circle top? Trainers, she resumes.

33' 1-0 Kirby dribbles through arc left, taps left to Mead(?) through box left to 10m mid-left, low shot kick-saved away by Alexander.

33' 1-0 J.Scott flicks ball at box top mid-right, it bounces off a defender, England raise arms for a handball VAR check :D, R1 not interested.

It's surprising only for those who haven't seen her on the pitch before! She always wears that amount of it. ;)

Well, if it hand't of been for Sissoko in the 2nd minutes...*grumble, grumble, grumble*

Actually, one thing I think has happened dramatically over the past 4 years is that the top of Women's football has become much more equalized, and consequently much more need for talent. That, along with the growth of women's professional football (and the attention it is getting). That has benefited multiple countries, and the growth is exciting.

At least, it's not old Welsh language. That would have been a lot harder to go through.

It has to be the Scottish accent.

2-0 for England now. The Scottish CB was too aggressive on the wrong player, and she left White wide open in front of goal.

34' 1-0 Kirby slips White through to 16m left post, she shoots left foot to left post low (or just wide), Alexander falls on it.

36' 1-0 Little chases to 4m wide left, but she's offside.

37' 1-0 Scott switches left to Greenwood, up wide left to Mead. Mead goes 1-v-1 on Howard again, outpaces her through 6m box left to 3m mid-left, Howard slide-pokes over endline.

38' 1-0 England left ck, to 5m 1/4 left, Alexander comes out and punches away and Scott body-checks her. Foul on Scott.

39' 1-0 Little snipes up right touch to Emslie, Greenwood steals.

That wasn't too far away by Cuthbert, but she will rue missing out a golden opportunity to cut the deficit quickly.

Scotland's players couldn't sweep that ball out of their box, despite multiple attempts: in the end it was fatal England would have found the good opening in that action.

Difficult to come back from that for Scotland, even if they tried one minute after with a good chance.

40' 2-0 Scotland get into a back-and-forth ping duel across own box top, can't quite clear. Corsie lunges out to Kirby at arc top left, ball bounces past her through box top left post. White turns onto ball alone, calmly snipes left instep bend around Alexander's dive, into back left edge 2/5 high.

42' 2-0 Cuthbert shoots from ~spot, just wide left low past Bardsley's dive.

Complete domination by England this game. I expect this to end 5 or 6-0
