Oh yeah, lift yourself by your bootstraps is a nice thing to tell to people who doesn't have boots. In an economy that requires more and more technical jobs, only so many can become roofers or plumbers. Not everyone wants to become one, not everyone should be required to go to college, but you cannot attach a millstone to every other person that wants to get a bachelors degree. How exactly? Public universities could be basically free if properly funded and the bill will be as much as our current grants and loans scheme (70 billion per year). Besides it is not about the past (there are solutions for those in debt too), it's about the future. Why do you want your daughters to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in education, when in almost every first world country you can go to college for free? Problem is, that if you don't vote democrat in 2020, there's only going to be one party. Also, Republicans will do their best so every vote doesn't count. You want to save the USA and the world? There's only one way to vote and it is Democrat. Sighs. Yeah, it is like poor white people will not gain anything from higher minimum wages, free public education, universal healthcare, clean environment, combating climate change or properly funding social security. Those entitled minorities.
Has anyone quoted Ben Shapiro here? I followed up last year by noting that even "intellectuals" like Ben Shapiro are actually in the business of selling nutritional supplements 3/ https://t.co/3qGfZynwyf pic.twitter.com/SC2kwM0XeY— Paul Krugman (@paulkrugman) June 4, 2019
Also, a swindler’s paradise: http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/06/republican-small-donors-easy-to-swindle-grifters.html
They were but the ones who are in now sure as hell ain’t democrats. David Duke was a republican when he got elected to the Louisiana state House.
I've never heard any of my friends, democrat or republican ever make a statement that those people are stupid. There are idiots that say such things but you have to consider the source. College doesn't equal success. And neither does a career as a plumber or electrician. The common thread in what you said is that they were willing to put in the hard work, which is a good recipe for success. However, a solid college education as a base, will likely prosper more opportunities than being pigeoned holed into being an electrician. I mean, at some point, you should still like what you do and there are crap plumbers and electricians that don't make it. And at 18 years old it's really difficult to make a decision that will affect your entire life. Yes, EVERYONE is taxed. Welcome to the "free world". A college education is not a given right and I'm not stating that folks shouldn't have skin in the game but $35k/year for state schools? Most private schools >$60k/year? For profit schools ala Univ of Phoenix and a ton of others just milking the system and putting tons of people in debt? That makes no sense and isn't sustainable. I get where you're going here but as a society, in order to move forward, we need to consider that what is status quo is not necessarily correct. If your son was that kid in the bathroom you would want his basic rights protected.
Yes but automatically calling someone racist puts them on the offensive You need to talk to them and not automatically consider them an idiot. That is why Bernie and Mayor Pete going on Fox News is great. I live Elizabeth warren but she is too scared to go on. The people who are going to vote for you. You already won talk to those who you can convince that your policies are good. Or why they aren’t crazy.
Actually her logic is flawless: Fox will use it to increase the ratings and then misconstrue the actual events and how the conversation goes, not to mention that it validates Fox who is in reality the source of most of our political problems. Warren is going on non-Fox townhalls on republican districts. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/elizabeth-warren-fox-news-town-hall_n_5cdacf8ee4b0f7ba48ab6243 And here is what Fox did to Buttigieg: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...is-lambasted-for-going-after-Founding-Fathers Fox & Friends uses Pete Buttigieg's Fox News town hall to accuse him of "going after our Founding Fathers" and "trying to erase our country's history." pic.twitter.com/u52Ri4scLk— Bobby Lewis (@revrrlewis) May 20, 2019
[White non-streaming Colombian]Yeah, but can you provide statistics? I mean, it is like not that many compared with [pulls note from his a$$] millions of Mosleems that want to kill us?[White non-streaming Colombian]

Yeah, proud southerners... America would be an infinitely better place if all white Southerners had the same attitude towards the Confederacy that most contemporary Germans do towards Nazism: be happy your ancestors lost a terrible war on behalf of an awful cause https://t.co/lVoV083k8Y— Nils Gilman (@nils_gilman) June 6, 2019
Germany doesnt have streets like Hitler Avenue or Gestapo Street or Goebbles Road. Nor the granddaughters of the SS. The south really needed a Haitian moment after their revolution

I dont think the math is incorrect here. the real threat for western society is not a muslim threat -which is used to justify the destruction of the middle east- but a white internal terrorist threat. I mean you have to seriously ignore all these massacres over the last several years to still believe that the brown person is the threat
