Ah I missed that! Well, if anything, that only raised his transfer value as now AZ doesn't have the pressure to sell :p In all seriousness, good for him! He can be part of a (seemingly) potent AZ attacking team. Who knows maybe AZ can make a run for the title next year with Ajax and PSV are set to reload their squad (and at risk losing respective head coaches ;)) We need Stengs to be really good for the sake of Oranje!!

  2. I actually have great expectations from him and Bodau.

Liverpool and Man City will go to the final day to decide the title. Emotional win by 'Pool this weekend against a resilient Newcastle, and with Salah went off on a stretcher with a nasty head injury. Van Dijk with an opening goal... but arguably his biggest contribution was by animatedly instructing Shaqiri to take an in-swinger free-kick that resulted to the winning goal. Van Dijk is boss

When was the last time a Dutch player won player of the year award in any major foreign league??

I can't really remember, but I think you would have to go back to the 1990's

Bayern leverkusen qualify for CL. Good achievement for bosz. He has got a good young squad. Hope he signs some up and coming dutchess like chong etc.

  9. Oh dear. Excelsior lost against RKC Waalwijk the Pro/Rel play off match.
Culprit in it is Koolwijk, who again defended stupidly.
Some 8 matches ago I was wondering why the coach (old one) kept him on the pitch because he constantly was terrible. New coach fields him too with the same defensive lapses as result. It'cannot be so that a youth player is worse than this guy.

Karamoko dembele made his official debut for celtic at 16. This guy has some serious talent. Big teams will start circling him soon.

Villa's defending was dicey down the stretch but they hold on to win 2-1. I wonder if they will try to purchase el Ghazi from Lille. He was one of their best players today.

Yes, Aston Villa have the right to buy el Ghazi but I don't know if the purchase price was agreed to as part of the loan deal. Good luck to him; I liked him when he was at Ajax.

5 million pounds. Lille has made it clear they dont want him back. Its not only him.there is alot of players on loan there. Mings (bournemouth),Tuanzebe (Man United), Abraham (Chelesa). Not sure if they will be able to sign everbody with parent clubs showing no intresting of selling them.

Derby county also featured kelle Roos, 26 yr old dutch goalie. Was a backup until their first choice got injured. Did a fine job in his absence and leading up to the final.

If they can retain all players they might turn out to be like wolves.

Klaassen is more deserving of a call up than el Ghazi. He's been transformed into a pretty good holding MF at Werder.

If he has a good season next year he deserves a call-up. But you can't call up a player based on his championship L. performance

  25. https://www.ad.nl/nederlands-voetba...ing-roda-jc-met-een-week-uitgesteld~a3941190/
Roda JC is on the edge of collapsing as the owner suddenly has pulled the pin from the granade and told he would drop the thing by announcing he's not going to put in anymore money as from the end of this week.
I consider it to be an act not in good faith. As the sole (?) owner of the Roda JC shares he has the control over the way Roda is operating. The fact that Roda is seriously overspending in relation to its means (without the cash input of the owner) for years means to me that owner was happy with that situation in the expectance of promotion. However Roda wasnot performing and another (=3d) year in the second tier is a fact.
So this man has had 3 years cleaning up the Roda JC act, but didnot and now suddenly pulls the plug.
    I deem this indecent behaviour.
