They're losing, Adams has been ok. Game doesn't mean anything at this point, following the important two games means I only pay marginal attention to this one.

 

First goal they gave up with him in the field (not counting a PK).

Bruma took one of those PKs that make you think there's event-linked match fixing going on. Wasted chance for Leipzig, although this game doesn't matter because they're #3 regardless.

 

Adams out at the 64' mark. He was walking the second half.

 

Adams finally lost a game.

 

A game that didn't actually matter.

 

Tough one for everybody. Rangnick made ten changes to the team that played Munich last week.

 

I’m just happy he got a game in before the Gold Cup.

Great if he starts for the Pokal, but wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t.

 

Adams was tidy, but you could tell this was his first game in awhile. He started dragging in the second half, and clearly the plan was to sub him out after 60, as that was the precise time he was subbed out. He did make some timely tackles, and had a couple of nice forward long balls that the second string strikers couldn’t capitalize on. It will be interesting to see if he did enough to show he’s ready to start in the cup final.

Was he rushed back?

 

Nah I didn’t see that. He just needed game time to get back into shape.
